"I'm with Peggy McIlveene"

Peggy is right.

If there is no being saved after the rapture who will literally repopulate the literal earth when Jesus literally reigns for 1000 literal years in His literal kingdom?
Everybody is dead, resurrected or raptured...maybe animals !
I will be reigning with Christ like He said when we get back.

The most misinterpreted passages in the Bible.....The Olivet Discourse

35: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Matthew 35,36

What does it say? Where does it say rapture?
I don't see it either.

The rapture wasn't heard of or known when these were spoken.
Paul told us about the rapture...a mystery ...later.

Therefore Verse 36 is referring back to Verse 35. ie. No man knows the hour or day heaven and earth will pass away.

If you don't apply Verse 36 to Verse 35 then the sky is the limit what Verse 36 is referring to.

Maybe these two verses are in here to keep us from worrying about whatever the rest of the world is worrying about...global warming, pollution, the sky falling, Armageddon (their definition), global doom,  whatever.

Believing in the pre-trib rapture is not necessary to be a part of it. You're going anyway whether you like it or not.
There will be a lot of "I told you so's" on the way up.

This is a good discussion though.
