"Question about Noah"
Forgive me if this has been addressed on your site before.
Genesis 7:6 and 11
Says that Noah was 600 years old when the flood came.
I think that most of us would have no problem recognizing the significance
of Noah being delivered after 600 years and prior to the destruction of
the world (i.e. the rapture after 6,000 years and prior to the tribulation).
I can't really tell if Noah was exactly 600 years plus
one month and 17 days or if it was just the second month and the 17th day
OF his 600th year. On top of that, I was under the impression that
in Hebrew terminolgy being IN the 600th year really meant that (in our
way of reckoning age) he was 599 years old plus however many days.
My questions are: Has anyone found any significance in
the extra days that the second month and 17 days would amount to?
And how old was Noah really? And as you wonderful Doves never fail
to delight me with your knowlege base and enlightenment, I'm very interested
in anything else any of you might have to share on this topic.
