PEACE AND SAFETY

In reading the various news articles about the disengagement plan for Israeli settlers from Gaza, it occurred to me that in so many of them, including the words of Condoleeza Rice recently, the words "peace and security" or safety, come up,,,,,,,as in so many of these articles now....
In the article c/p'd below we find that there is even a "Council for Peace and Security" set up in Israel....
So.....this month, August 2005, we are definitely hearing them say, "Peace and safety"........see below:

Disengagement Chief Warns Gush Katif Residents They May Lose Belongings

(IsraelNN.com) Disengagement Authority Director Yonatan Bassi announced on Tuesday night that Gush Katif residents who do not make appropriate arrangements to move their belongings, may risk losing their possessions.
Addressing the Council for Peace and Security in Ramat Gan, Bassi explained that next Friday Gaza will be closed to incoming traffic and while residents will be able to travel out, moving trucks and other vehicles will not be permitted to enter the area.
Bassi explained the government is not obligated to move the belongings of residents transferred by force, warning that even though whatever remains behind would be moved by the IDF but, the government will not take responsibility.
