"Noticing 666"

Here's question number one:  What do you think the statistical chances are of going to Motor Vehicles to get your license plates, and of all the potential combination of license plate numbers assigned at random, that you get a plate with "666" somewhere in the number?

The chances of that happening have to be small.

Now given that a good percentage of people who are handed license plates with "666" in them would hand them back and say "can I have another number?", the chances of a car having a license plate with "666" in it are even more slim.

Ok, so let's say there's someone out there driving a car with "666" in the license plate number.  What do you think are the statistical chances of you finding yourself behind that person on the highway or at a red light?  Has to be 1 in a billion.

Well I thought about that the other day when I saw it myself.  The truck that passed me on the right had "666" in the license plate.  Wow, what a strange fluke.

A couple of days later, I was behind a Ford at a red light.... 666 in the license plate.

A couple of days later, I was on my way to my sister's house... and a pickup with 666 in the license plate passed me coming the other way.

At that point I started to freak out.  I was going to my sister's house because her and I were going on a business trip together and driving from Albany to Rochester.  Two days later we were on our way back, and yep... we passed a car on the Thruway with 666 in the license plate.  I lost it and told my sister about my experiences.

We're not done.

Yesterday I was driving around with my mother coming home from going furniture shopping.  On the highway we passed a mini-van with 666 in the license plate.

That's five.  Five 1 in a billion chances in about two weeks time.

Now, I've been seeing the 11:11 phenomenon for well over a year now to the point where it doesn't even phase me as much.  I always happen to look at the look at 11:11pm and say "Amen" and keep going.  It's become common for me.

Now I'm reading more about the 4:44

And now I'm seeing 666 in statistically impossible amounts.

Is anyone else noticing this?
