THE POWER OF PRAYER

Okay, here's kind of a great idea I got from LIFT & LAUGH. I've adapted it just a "tad" to make it fit my agenda. Today, instead of a post on current events or on our rapture readiness, I believe this is inspired by the Holy Spirit and is a brilliant idea , IF each person on the list prayed for all of the other people on the list. Each person on this list is a Christian brother or sister and we all need prayers. Below is a good spirit-filled and Word orientated prayer, that you can pray. In this way, each 5 Doves member will be praying for all the other 5 Doves members. I didn't write the prayer below - it was sent to me in an email - but I did modify and added the 'finishing' Word touches to it*.

 
 

"Father God,in the Name of JESUS,

First,I come before You, boldly as Your son, into Your throne room of Grace,to worship You & to praise You and to adore You.I want to take this time to "THANK YOU" for all the spiritual blessings that you have given to me that have physically manifested themselves in the natural world for me and my family. I pray and interceded for the President of the United States of America, Bless him, Father and let the Holy Spirit guide and direct him for Your Will and purpose. Surround him and his family with Your love.

  I ask you to bless my friends/family and members of the 5 Doves list reading this right now. Lord God, show them a new revelation of Your Word, love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment and quicken their spirits to Your own. Where there is pain, give them Your peace & mercy. Where there is self-doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them. Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, & strength as they learn submission to Your leading and Your will. Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You. Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to them Your courage. Because You didn't give us of spirit of fear ; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over their life. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders, and friends to support, and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the demonic forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You and in the Name of JESUS to defeat it. And according to Matt.18:18,19, I break and bind  the power that the devil has over my fellow member and command him to desist in all his maneuvers against him/her and I loosen an angel to each member to minister unto him/her , I ask You to do ALL these things in Jesus' name.

And I Personally THANK YOU LORD and BLESS YOU DAD. Amen."
