The year 2000, or Jewish Year 5760 was heavily
promoted as the Jubilee Year.  However after an
internet search, I found this article which indicates
there is some confusion as to when the real Jubilee
year occurs. It lists 2005 (5765) as one of the
possibilities:

"The Jews today are in confusion as to Sabbatical
years and Jubilee years. True fifty-year Jubilee years
were only counted during Temple times. Some Jews
believe that every 15th and 65th years of the world
era are Jubilee years. Thus, 1955 and 2005 would be
Jubilee years. And 1976 and 1983 would have been
Sabbatical years."
