"Political debates"
John,
With all the heated
political debates going on between Doves, may I suggest that everyone read
the official party platforms behind the candidates to learn what direction
the next president will take the country (rather than trying to defend
someone whom you have not a clue about their morals other than what TV
ads are saying).
I, personally have
decided to take a moral stand for this election. I simply cannot
vote for any candidate whose platform (and incidentally whose senatorial
voting record) praises, promotes and promises that abortion on demand will
always be "right" of all women. The abortion issue to me has become
a final defining issue (not service in Vietnam or the war on terror).
I think it should also for all moral people. God, over and over,
specifically forbids the spilling of "innocent blood" ( and whose blood
could be more innocent than that of unborn babies in the womb) and yet
this country has allowed and even applauded abortion rights resulting in
well over 40 million unborn children having been murdered in the womb
since the seventies. This is a real life and death issue folks, and
it is one that I believe God is waiting to see what choices we as a nation
will make concerning His little ones!!!!
There is also another moral
issue that will be found in the platforms of the candidates, and that is
concerning the gay agenda to force states to perform and legally recognize
gay "marriages". Whose platform praises and recommends gay marriage?
Whose platform does the opposite?
These and other
volatile moral issues (whether we like them or not) will be defining who
we are as a people and country over the next many years, and Godly people
need to wake up and how Satan is blinding people with party loyalties and
creating deceptions everywhere we look. W e must be discerning above
and beyond political party lines - regardless of what our political affiliations
have historically been. Would God approve of us voting for pro-abortion,
pro-gay candidates just for the sake of ousting an incumbent in office?
Does that kind of knee-jerk voting reflect a lack of moral centeredness
and direction?
Ask yourselves those
questions, and then get on you knees and pray that this country and this
election will be directed by Almighty God and then forget all the bickering
and get back to conversations and daily actions that glorify our Heavenly
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ and not amoral politicians. Please!!!!!
Please!!!!
