I am grateful for your friendship in sending me the thoughts of your beliefs and the enjoyable incidents and jokes you enjoy.  It is a great help since you have different beliefs from most of those I know.  Yours are similar to what we used to know as 'fundamentalist' when I lived in Colorado.  My beliefs as a Christian are not always the same as other people's and that is as it should be, as there are many paths to God and anyone who preaches exclusivity is saying we are not all God's children.  I look on myself as a spiritual rather than religious person because I have found that so often 'religions' are exclusive.
 
But as your recent message said, you show friendship by passing on what you enjoy.  So as a thank you I am sending you something I read and found fundamentally true in the face of the world we are coping with today.  It lifted my spirit and rang bells in my soul.  I am a part of George Bush and John Kerry as much as I am a part of Bin Laden and the Hasidim - God's energy flows through us all and to me God is Love, Life, Energy and Joy.  I don't condone or judge what others do (or am trying not to!).  I believe we are all One yet we have no concept of how powerful we are in terms of the spirit.  Until we come to terms with this we cannot change those who want to kill us.  I pray in love for all of them - when I remember to.>>>>
