you shall find the eagles gathered together.Mt. 24:28 says, "For wheresoever the carcase (ptoma, body, i.e., Body of
Christ) is (at the 'general assembly' in Heaven, Heb. 12:23), there will the
EAGLES (Tribulation saints) be gathered together."> > Mesha: The gathering of the elect in Matthew 24 is none other
than the promise of the restoration of Israel fully being completed as
prophesied in Ezekiel 39. And is not as some call the Post Trib rapture.Isa. 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES; they shall run, and not
be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Only in Heaven could they
"run, and not be weary." Mounting up with wings represents the Pre-Wrath
Rapture that precedes the Second Advent by 7 months.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thank you for your reply. If I am understanding it correctly, you are
saying the gathering of the saints is in Matthew 24:28. How does this
translate to the gathering of the Elect after Jesus' return. That is where
most post-tribbers get their Idea of a Post-Tribulation Rapture. But as we
read in Ezekiel 39 the Lord comes, destroys the armies arrayed against
Israel and the Angel shouts stating that the Lord has prepared a sacrafice
for the birds and the beasts. In Revelation 19 we have the Lord returning
and he destroys those arrayed against Israel and the Angel shouting that the
Lord has prepared a feast for the Birds. And this is why I believe what I
had written about the carcass and the eagles. But none the less we are
talking about the gathering of the elect after the Lord's return. In
Ezekiel 39 after the Lord returns He sends out his messangers to gather all
of Israel back to the land. Isaiah 60 and Jeremiah 11 support this. Now I am not saying you are wrong about the Eagles wings and the Carcass
being christ, because I can see how you believe that and I admit I could be
wrong. I was referring to the gathering of the elect that the Post-Tribbers
claim is the Post-Trib rapture, but there are too many passages in the Old
Testament that refutes that. Perhaps I just didn't make myself all that
clear about it.
