"Donna to Mesha--Carcase is a dead body (Mt. 24:28)"

To Donna, from Marilyn Agee:
Re: "CARCASE IS A DEAD BODY (MATT.24:28)"

> > Donna: The Greek word for "carcase" in Matthew 24:28 is "ptoma" which is word # 4430 in Strong's Concordance Greek Dictionary of the New Testament.  The definition given for ptoma is "lifeless body (corpse, carrion): dead body, carcase, corpse."  So the dead body can't be the body of Christ that is the carcase in that verse.

 > > However, a similar verse, Luke 17:37 also says, "And they answered and said unto him, Where Lord?: And he said unto them, Wherever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together."  In this verse the Greek word for "body" is "soma" which is word #4983, and it's meaning is "the body (as a sound whole), used in a wide application, lit. or fig.: bodily, body, slave." So this verse could mean the collective body of people assembled where the eagles are gathered together.

Thanks for comparing Mt. 24:28 and Luke 17:37. To me, they are both talking about the Pre-Wrath Rapture. We must let the Bible interpret itself.

The Lord set the type in the Old Testament. In Ex. 19:4 He said, "Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I BARE YOU ON EAGLES' WINGS, AND BROUGHT YOU UNTO MYSELF."

The Israelites came to Mt. Sinai, which represented Heaven. Ex. 24:10 says, "they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven (i.e., heavenly body) in his clearness."That's why there was a sapphire pavement under His feet. Sapphire means dear to the planet Saturn, from the Sanskrit Sani, Saturn, and priya, dear.

It looks like Christ's throne is on Saturn. Eze. 1:25-28 says, "And above the firmament (expanse of space) that was over their heads (farther out in space than the 4 terrestrial planets) was the likeness (symbolic language) of a throne, as (symbolic language) the appearance of a SAPPHIRE stone: and upon the likeness (i.e., symbol) of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man (Jesus Christ) above upon it" (Eze. 1:26).

The place of Jesus' throne has 7 rings upon it. Eze. 1:28 says, "As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about." Zech 3:9,10 (LXX) says, "I bring forth my servant The Branch. For as for the stone which I have set before the face of Jesus, on the one stone are seven eyes" (orbs, rings).

Isa. 40:31 says, "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Jer. 49:21,22 says, "The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea. Behold, he (the LORD) SHALL COME UP AND FLY AS THE EAGLE, AND SPREAD HIS WINGS OVER BOZRAH: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs." This is the day of the Pre-Wrath Rapture and the Day of God's Wrath.

The two Raptures are the two Days of the Son of Man. Luke 17:22,23 says, "And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one (singular) of the days (plural, i.e., two) of the Son of man (the Pre-Trib Rapture as the days of Noah; the Pre-Wrath Rapture is as the days of Lot), and ye (i.e., those in the Tribulation) shall not see it (the Pre-Trib Rapture). And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them." This ties in with Mt. 24:26's "believe it not."

In Luke 17:25,26, Jesus tells what comes first. He must "be rejected of this generation. AND as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the DAYS (plural) of the Son of Man." The Pre-Trib Rapture, the first Day of the Son of Man, must take place first, i.e., before the Tribulation.

Then, in Luke 17:28-37, Jesus tells us about the 2nd Rapture, the Pre-Wrath Rapture. "Likewise also as it was in the DAYS OF LOT; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the SAME DAY that Lot went out of Sodom (prefiguring the 2nd Rapture) it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all (the 2nd Rapture is on the Day of God's Wrath). Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed (i.e., when men see the Sign of the Son of Man in the sky). In that day (Tishri 1 in the year of the Second Advent on the following Nisan 1), he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the ONE SHALL BE TAKEN, AND THE OTHER SHALL BE LEFT. Two women shall be grinding together; the ONE SHALL BE TAKEN, AND THE OTHER LEFT. Two men shall be in the field; the ONE SHALL BE TAKEN, AND THE OTHER LEFT. And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body (i.e., the Body of Christ that was caught up to Heaven in the Pre-Trib Rapture) is (in Heaven), thither will the eagles (Tribulation saints) be gathered together."

Of this time, Mt. 24:27-29 says, "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase (ptoma, fallen body of one that is dead; Thayer) is (in Heaven, Jesus having taken the Old Testament saints in Paradise to Heaven after his resurrection), there will the eagles (Tribulation saints) be gathered together. IMMEDIATELY after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened." This is 6th seal. By 6 PM that day, the Eve of Trumpets, "the day of his wrath is come" (Rev. 6:12-17).

IMMEDIATELY "after these things", we read of the angels holding back the winds until the Tribulation saints, "which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb," are caught up to Heaven (Rev. 7:1-14).

After the Tribulation saints are caught up to Heaven, the 7th seal is broken. And "there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour" (Rev. 8:1). I think this is while Christ is being seated as judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ. At the same time, there is silence on Earth. Hab. 2:20 says, "the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him."

Rev. 11:18,19 says, "And the nations were angry, and THY WRATH IS COME, and the time of the dead, that they should be JUDGED, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."

What is in the Ark? the two stones with the ten commandments on them. They represent the two asteroids of Rev. 8:8 and 10. The stones will be dumped on Earth after all the saints are safe in Heaven.

It looks like Christ will be crowned in Heaven, come to Earth's atmosphere, catch up the Tribulation saints, and then sit as judge at the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven.

All the saints, small and great, will be receiving their rewards while the asteroid impacts of Rev. 8:8 and 10 destroy the cities of the nations (Rev. 16:18,19) and bring down every wall in the worldwide earthquake (Eze. 38:20). And "there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne (of Christ), saying, IT IS DONE" (Rev. 16:17).

All this is 7 months before the Second Advent. Eze. 38:20 tells of the Wrath of God. Eze. 39:12,13 tells of the 7 months that follow the Day of God's Wrath. Eze. 39:11-13 says, "there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog. And SEVEN MONTHS shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified (at the Second Advent, Nisan 1, first day of the Regnal and Sacred Year), saith the Lord GOD."

> > It sounds like the events of Matthew 24:28, Ezekiel 39:17-22, and in Rev. 19:17-18 take place at the second coming of the Lord to the earth with all his saints in heaven.

Mt. 24:28 is BEFORE the sun is darkened at the breaking of the 6th seal. Mt. 24:29 says, "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days shall the SUN BE DARKENED."
Rev. 6:12 says, "I beheld when he had opened the SIXTH SEAL, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the SUN BECAME BLACK as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood."

Christ does not return on the dark day. Zech. 14:5-9 says, "And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and THE LORD MY GOD SHALL COME, AND ALL THE SAINTS WITH THEE. And it shall come to pass IN THAT DAY, THAT THE LIGHT SHALL NOT BE CLEAR, NOR DARK: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one."

Christ does not return until after the 7th seal is broken, after the 7 trumpet judgments hit Earth, and after the 7 vials of God's wrath are completed.
