M,
Loved today's post at Doves! So where does that put the pre-trib rapture in your opinion? It appears to be late 2004 to me, but I bet you have a specific date in mind.
Blessings,
Dan

Re: Late 2004 date for the Rapture?

Hi:

Here are my opinions. How does Dec. 17, 2004 sound for the Pre-Trib Rapture? That is 2300 days (Dan. 8:13,14) from Nisan 1, 5771 (Apr. 5, 2011), the Second Advent. I think that will be when Christ will come as the latter rain (Hos. 6:3).

I expect the Day of God's Wrath (Eze. 38:18-20) to come on the previous Tishri 1, 5771 (Sept. 9, 2010), the Feast of Trumpets. The year 5771 is a Jewish Leap Year, so there are 7 (Eze. 39:13,14) instead of 6 months between Tishri 1 and the following Nisan 1.

After I figured that out, I found out that Dec. 17 was the first day of the Roman Saternalia. It would be just like Satan to try to obscure the date that we would be caught up to Heaven (lit., the planet Saturn) by associating it with a pagan festival.

Yes. I think Heaven is on Saturn. In II Cor. 12, Paul was caught up to the 3rd heaven, (1) Mars, (2) Jupiter and (3) Saturn. According to Josephus, a Pharisee priest, the lampstand for the temple stood for (1) Sun, (2) Mercury, (3) Venus, (4) Earth, (5) Mars, (6) Jupiter and (7) Saturn. Earth, where Christ became our Saviour, is the middle lamp. The western lamp was to be kept burning, because it represented the Sun.

The number 7 is God's number of completion and perfection. Naturally, Saturn is the 7th lamp. Zech. 3:9,10 (LXX) says, "I bring forth my servant The Branch (Jesus). For as for the stone (planet) which I have set before the face of Jesus, on the one stone are seven eyes" (orbs, circles, rings). As seen from Earth, Saturn has seven rings. It is marked in a way that can't apply to any other planet.

Psa. 78:69 says that the Lord "built his sanctuary like high palaces (Green: places, i.e., planets), LIKE THE EARTH (a planet) which he hath established forever."

Psa. 89:36,37 says that "His seed (Jesus) shall endure for ever, and his throne (on Saturn) AS THE SUN (a sphere in our solar system) before me. It shall be established for ever AS THE MOON (another sphere in our solar system) and AS A FAITHFUL WITNESS (therefore visible) in heaven." Saturn is a naked-eye planet.

Saturn has thick clouds and orbits along the ecliptic. Job 22:12-14 says, "Is not God in the height of heaven?...thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud? Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and HE WALKETH IN THE CIRCUIT (i.e., along the ecliptic) OF HEAVEN."

Psa. 19:6 says, "His going forth is from the end (qatsah; extremity) of the heaven, and HIS CIRCUIT unto the ends (extremities) of it." The circuit tells us that His going forth is from a planet, a wanderer. Stars don't move within the lifetime of one man. They form the stationary background against which we see the planets move.

In Eze. 1, the four things moving in concentric rings, wheels within wheels, around the central Sun ("a fire infolding itself," v. 4) in the heavens (v. 1) are the four terrestrial planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. The Sun and "one wheel upon the earth" (v. 15) are important clues to help us unravel the meaning of Ezekiel's visions in chapters 1 and 10.

Over the heads (i.e., farther out in space) than the terrestrial planets is Saturn. Eze. 1:26 says, "And above the firmament (expanse of space) that was over their heads was the likeness (symbolic language) of a throne (Christ's), as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man (Christ) above upon it." I think Christ's throne is on Saturn.

Sapphire means dear to the planet Saturn. It represents Saturn in Eze. 28:13 too. The sapphire is listed there as the 7th stone, just as the 7th lamp on the lampstand represented Saturn.

Saturn has a halo around it. Eze. 1:28 describes the rings: "As the appearance of the bow (the rainbow formed by sunshine on ice crystals) that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the BRIGHTNESS round about" (the rings are BRIGHT because of the sunshine on ice crystals).

In Rev. 2:28, Jesus said of overcomers, "I will give him the morning star." He also said that he was the "BRIGHT and morning star" in Rev. 22:16, but the overcomers already have Jesus in their heart. He probably said he was the bright morning star, because that's where his throne is located. Saturn is now a morning star. It is in Gemini, the sign of the Rapture, when the Bride will sit in heavenly places with the Bridegroom.

Saturn will still be a morning star in Gemini on Dec. 17, 2004. It will be up all night in November, 2004. If I remember right, Saturn will become an evening star sometime in January, 2005.

Maybe on that day Eph. 2:6 will come true. It says that he "hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."

I hope we will be caught up to Heaven Dec. 17, 2004, the day the Tribulation will probably begin. Israel has just taken the temple mount away from Arafat, and installed Jordan as overseer instead. Next week, Christians and Jews are supposed to be able to go up on the mount. This is hailed as preliminary to rebuilding the temple.
