than the promise of the restoration of Israel fully being completed as
prophesied in Ezekiel 39. And is not as some call the Post Trib rapture.Isa. 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES; they shall run, and not
be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Only in Heaven could they
"run, and not be weary." Mounting up with wings represents the Pre-Wrath
Rapture that precedes the Second Advent by 7 months.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thank you for your reply. If I am understanding it correctly, you are
saying the gathering of the saints is in Matthew 24:28. How does this
translate to the gathering of the Elect after Jesus' return. That is where
most post-tribbers get their Idea of a Post-Tribulation Rapture. But as we
read in Ezekiel 39 the Lord comes, destroys the armies arrayed against
Israel and the Angel shouts stating that the Lord has prepared a sacrafice
for the birds and the beasts. In Revelation 19 we have the Lord returning
and he destroys those arrayed against Israel and the Angel shouting that the
Lord has prepared a feast for the Birds. And this is why I believe what I
had written about the carcass and the eagles. But none the less we are
talking about the gathering of the elect after the Lord's return. In
Ezekiel 39 after the Lord returns He sends out his messangers to gather all
of Israel back to the land. Isaiah 60 and Jeremiah 11 support this. Now I am not saying you are wrong about the Eagles wings and the Carcass
being christ, because I can see how you believe that and I admit I could be
wrong. I was referring to the gathering of the elect that the Post-Tribbers
claim is the Post-Trib rapture, but there are too many passages in the Old
Testament that refutes that. Perhaps I just didn't make myself all that
clear about it._________________________________________________________________
Hi:
Maybe I could make my position clearer.
> > If I am understanding it correctly, you are
saying the gathering of the saints is in Matthew 24:28.
The gathering of the Tribulation saints is in view, but still future. Mt. 24:15 is Mid-Trib, when the False Prophet sits in the temple "shewing himself that he is God" (II Thess. 2:4). Verses 23 and 24 are still Mid-Trib. They say, "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there: believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets." Verse 26 is still Mid-Trib. It says, "behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not."
In the next section, verses 27-31 skip to the time of the Pre-Wrath Rapture on the Day of God's Wrath. It is the coming of Christ for the Tribulation saints, not the Second Advent. This is the Tishri 1, Feast of Trumpets, that will be SEVEN JEWISH MONTHS (Eze. 39:12,13) BEFORE THE SECOND ADVENT on Nisan 1, the first day of the Jewish Regnal and Sacred Year.
Mt. 24:27-31 says, "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man (i.e., for the Tribulation saints) be. For wheresoever the carcase (body, i.e., the Body of Christ) is (in Heaven), there will the eagles (Tribulation saints) be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days (Mid-Trib to the Day of God's Wrath) shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light (6th seal, Rev. 6:12f), and the stars (asteroids of Rev. 8:8 and 10) shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then (tote, at the same time) SHALL APPEAR THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN: and then (tote, at the same time) shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (but he doesn't set his feet on Earth for 7 more months). And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."
The Bride of Christ will be gathered to the general assembly in Heaven (Heb. 12:23). At the same time, the Tribulation saints will be caught up to that same general assembly in Heaven. Mark 13:27 says, "And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (the Tribulation saints) to the uttermost part of heaven" (the Bride saints that were already in Heaven, having been caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture. That's why they had to be gathered from one end of Heaven to the other.
This dovetails with Isa. 26:19-21. It says, "Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they ARISE. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead (this is the last rank in the First Resurrection, I Cor. 15:23). COME, MY PEOPLE (like the 'Come up hither' of Rev. 4:1, but for the 144,000 of Rev. 7), enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: HIDE thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, THE LORD COMETH OUT OF HIS PLACE TO PUNISH THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH FOR THEIR INIQUITY: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain."
Zeph. 2:3-5 speaks of the great multitude that no man can number of Rev. 7:9 being hid in that day. It says, "Seek ye the LORD, ALL YE MEEK OF THE EARTH, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: IT MAY BE YE SHALL BE HID IN THE DAY OF THE LORD'S ANGER. For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast". The asteroid of Rev. 8:8 will impact the Mediterranean Sea.
The unbelievers left on Earth will say "to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne (the Sign of the Son of Man seen in the sky), and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" (Rev. 6:16,17).
> > How does this

It isn't talking about after the Second Advent, only about the Day of God's Wrath 7 months before the Second Advent.
> > we are
talking about the gathering of the elect after the Lord's return. In
Ezekiel 39 after the Lord returns He sends out his messangers to gather all
of Israel back to the land.
On the Day of God's Wrath, all Israel will be saved in a day. Isa. 66:8 says, "as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." All the scattered ones will be taken back to God's land.
> > I was referring to the gathering of the elect that the Post-Tribbers
claim is the Post-Trib rapture
The gathering after the Day of God's Wrath will be on Earth. There are no more Raptures after the Pre-Wrath Rapture on the Day of God's Wrath. It is "the last trump" (I Cor. 15:51,52).
