Dear Doves

I was made aware of a post from Carl Lindquist, dated July 16th, acknowledging my posts with a warm 'thank you' and offering relevant advise from his friend in the 'technical end of intelligence' who says:

"Thank your lucky stars Bush is President, and thank your lucky stars he is doing what he is doing. [pre-emptive strikes and war]  For every thing you hear about regarding world events and the war on terror, five times as much stuff is going on and happening you do not hear about and probably will never hear about."
 
Carl says "From what he implies, Ashcroft will go down as a civic saint for his efforts to protect us, and the Patriot Act is the only thing saving each of you and me from certain doom.  That there is an all-out attempt by Muslim extremists to destroy us and our way of life, using currently and in the future ANY and ALL possible means at their disposal to accomplish it."

I missed this post because I was on vacation. So, this is to publicly thank Card for his kind words and also to again bring to your attention the perilous times we live in. All the individual issues we are concerned with as well as all the so called unChristian words of George W. will suddenly become irrelevant if we experience additional terrorist attacks on our soil.
