Paul,

     I agree with your assessment.  They seem to actually believe that an
earthly, political party could be the party of God as though God is a
Republican and Satan is a Democrat.  It is certainly effective propaganda as
it has seduced many evangelicals.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 John 2:16 For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the
lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the
world.
