Rapture and judgment revelations

Dear friends:

I just spoke with a minister friend in Kentucky. He told me that this week he was speaking with a pastor friend in another town. The pastor friend told him that he was praying about what to preach on this coming Sunday. Suddenly, he said, "just as clear as a bell," the Lord spoke to him strongly and said, "You had better preach about the rapture. It is sooner than you think." What makes this especially Interesting is this pastor friend is really not into Bible prophecy.

Also, the other night before bedtime a dentist friend and Bible teacher in Indiana said that he prayed and asked the Lord if the rapture is very soon or are we going to have to wait another 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 years. He said that he did not get a direct answer right away, but during that same night about 4-5 hours later he had a vivid dream. He cannot remember the details of the dream but only remembers hearing a strong voice say, "It will be soon." That was obviously an answer to his prayer. He said that he awoke about 4 or 5 a.m. and a most unusual and supernatural peace filled him and the room, which seems like a confirmation of the answered prayer.

JUDGMENT?

On August 17, 2004, I reported the revelations of a lady about cataclysmic events happening in America, which are "very, very close," she said, and she asked for feedback on similar revelations from others. On August 22/23, I reported a similar vision by Oral Roberts. See those dates at www.insights.injesus.com. I cannot include them here, but amazingly, many of you responded to the lady with similar and confirming revelations.

Because of the many such reports that have come to me, I cannot dismiss them. Nor can I dismiss the rapture revelations many are also getting.

How can the two be reconciled?

My long-time belief, and that of others, is that the rapture will probably occur just before or simultaneous with major destruction. Noah was lifted up simultaneous with the flood. Lot was removed to safety just before his city was destroyed by fire. Jesus said that the rapture will be the "as in the days of Noah" (Matthew 24:37), and also "as in the days of Lot" (Luke 17:28). Jesus also said, "Yes, it will be 'business as usual' right up to the hour when the Son of Man returns" (Luke 17:30, NLT), which obviously means it will not be during or after the tribulation when things definitely will not be "business as usual." It could be tomorrow.

If this is true, and the above revelations are true, which I believe, we are looking at very, very near term. It is time to be ready, pray, and tell others. Once it comes with God's stark suddenness and finality, it will be too late for many.

Jim
