"REPLY TO DEESHELTON"
HI DEESHELTON
Your
question was:
<<<<<<<<<<
does anyone know the status of the church in nagasaki and hiroshima when
america destrotyed those cities with atomic bombs,or was it non existent.
>>>>>>>>>>>>
The
Christian church in Japan, even though small and silent has been there
for between five and six hundred years. As
far as Nagasaki and Hiroshima in particular; I can't speak for Hiroshima,
but I heard a story back several years ago about Nagasaki. The
story is that there were a small group of Christian men who had gathered
together for Prayer in a small wooden structure of some type; apparently
to Pray for what had just happened in Hiroshima. They
happened to be gathered right at the same time that the second A-bomb was
dropped on their city.The
story is that where they were gathered, was about a half mile or less from
ground zero; and that all life around them were killed, and everything
flattened and demolished as far as the eye could see.The
lone exception being that one structure where the men had gathered, which
was still standing and untouched--with all men surviving--the point being
of them Spiritually hidden away from the blast.

Watch
ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape
all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of
Man.
