  Soraya, your original comments and thoughts are correct concerning that Commander Elliot guy; so don't let somebody just drop in out of nowhere and tell you any different.The fact that this waffling George Elliot had to go out and get a second affidavit to cover his butt regarding something he had allegedly previously said, in order to cover something he said to alter the truthfulness of the first affidavit is telling.
 
  I have set on both civil and criminal juries in the past; and when trial lawyers picks people for their juries, they're looking for people who they think will fairly hear they're case, see through all the maze of testimony, and make a fair judgment, hopefully in their favor; and most jury members are very conscientious of their duty to do the right thing in that regard.
 
  In the case of George Elliot, he really comes across as a waffling person, whose version of the truth comes across as groping, murky, unstable, and questionable at best.Having to sign a second affidavit in order to either validate the first one, or try and make an attempt to amend or hide something that may have been allegedly said that differs in nature from a first affidavit, will look very suspicious to a jury; and they can and would question all of his testimony and even disregard it all if they choose to do that.
 
  Falsifying an affidavit is a serious matter, and it is a felony, if the other party wants it pursued that way.And no doubt Elliot's lawyer(s) told him to sign a second affidavit to cover his butt from some things that he may have said that was radically different from what he swore to in the first affidavit as being true; which would otherwise be perjury.If I was Elliot, I would shut my mouth, and right now, and keep it shut, because he doesn't come off as the least bit credible.And that's probably what his lawyer has counseled him to do as well.
