"Revelation of Jesus"

Dear Doves,

From what I am understanding, the Lord's Prayer contains the pre-trib view.  All my life, I've prayed this anointed prayer, and didn't see it...until recently.

A few weeks ago, I felt led to look at the Lord's Prayer.  As I prayed, the word "temptation" jumped out at me.   I realized that same word was used in the book of Revelation.  I found it in Revelation 3:10.

Mathew 6: 8-13 King James Version, notice the word "temptation" in verse 13.  Also notice that the next words are: but deliver us from evil.  Hmmmm - looks like "take us away" from the tribulation that is to come, to me.

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Now, reading in the book of Revelation, King James version, Jesus tells us He will keep the saints from (out of) "temptation."  Jesus is telling us the church will not be going through the tribulation, but will be kept from it.

Revelation 3:10
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Is anyone else seeing this?  I bet there are lots of you who had seen this years ago.  I just found it and it makes me smile.

Thank you sweet Jesus, for teaching us how to pray.  How awesome You are!  We are so grateful and humbled by who You are.  Thank You for the living, breathing Word.  We look forward to seeing You really soon!

Hugs to the Doves,
