"Re:Elaine Shealey and the Book of Enoch"

I too read my bible every day and have read it several times.  I have also read the Book of Enoch and it is fascinating.  There are an abundance of gospel references in the Book of Enoch and the bible also references the Book of Enoch.  God told Enoch to write the book and gave him time to do it before taking him from the earth.  I would recommend reading it for anyone that has the spirit, discernment and is very acquainted with the bible.  I do know that the Ethiopian bible contains both the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees which the traditional english bibles do not contain.  I also know that the Ethiopians were worshipping God at the temple in Jerusalem along with Solomon and continue to worship God to this day.

I was disheartened to hear that so many doves claim it is not inspired, or written by the devil to deceive but I also understand that God does not give everyone eyes to see or ears to hear.  If I were you I would get the book and read it, I think you would be amazed and inspired by it.  I have only read books 1 and 2, not book 3 yet.  Once you have an adequate understanding of God and who He is and have read the passages regarding Enoch then it certainly makes the bible clearer to read the book.

I have taken things with much prayer and asked for wisdom and understanding as well as discernment in the bible and the Book of Enoch.  I felt it was quite a blessing.  I also follow the ten commandments which many "christians" felt were nailed to the cross for some odd reason.  After reading from Genesis to Revelations and being warned throughout the bible by both God and Jesus in both the old and new testament that we are to follow His commandments and obey them if we truly love God.  John 14:21 really sums it up.  I put more credence into the words that God and Jesus spoke as truth than what man tends to say or believe based on what they both say in the bible.

I do not want to offend anyone or have any debate regarding either the Book of Enoch or the Ten Commandments as I do study my bible consistently and am not going to get into any type of division, strife or dissensions - as in Galatians 5.  I do not believe that everyone should read the Book and many would not understand or get anything from it as they are not yet ready or able to understand.

God Bless and I hope this helps with your question.  Melodie
