Hello,
John and Doves,
Last
night, my bible study group had a little discussion on hearing the LORD's
(YHWH's) voice. We agreed that we begin to recognize His voice as we
read the Holy Scriptures--no apocrypha, please. As we are reading, He
interjects His voice [it sounds in our minds] to read along side us, at the
exact same pace that we are reading. This way, we get used to the way
He sounds in our minds. The more we read the Word, the more we are filled
with the Holy Spirit, and we can be sure we hear Him.
For it
is written, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by
the word of God." Romans 10:17
And never, never forget, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us
[our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 [The Christian's bar of
soap]
In
HaShem,

"Amanda..."
Keep in mind that in so many of the times the Lord
or one of His Messengers appeared, the first thing they said was 'Fear Not'. I
still don't 'trust' myself when it comes to hearing His voice...I guess it's
because in 'real life' I'm a 'big mouth', so I drown out any other 'voices',
assuming they are just my
own!
Blessings~
