Hello, John and Doves,

 

God owns our salvation, lock, stock, and barrel.  We cannot unsave ourselves.

    " 'My Father, who has given [them] to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of My Father's hand.' "  John 10:29

 

Jesus will never reject us, once we have accepted Him as LORD and Savior:

    "'All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.'"  John 6:37

 

Thus, Paul writes,

    "For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day."  2 Timothy 1:12

 

For it is written,

    "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard [you] from the evil one."

2 Thessalonians 3:3

 

Moreover,

    "For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life."  Romans 5:10

 

    "[Through] the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not."  Lamentations 3:22

 

    "...being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete [it] until the day of Jesus Christ...."  Philippians 1:6

 

For this reason it is written,

    "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."  Isaiah 9:6

 

"Everlasting" means "now and forever.  Amen and amen!
