Hello, John and Doves,
Nikki, may the Holy Spirit bring you real
comfort.
Let me illustrate. Yesterday, Easter
Sunday, I was taking a Sunday drive on the Del Dios Highway, part of
County Road 6, in San Diego County. I had just run out of gas in
my little burgundy colored Yaris. I was wondering if the gas
station in Rancho Sante Fe was open. Then I said, in my spirit,
that I won't make it there [because of my knees and ankles]. No
sooner had I said that--I was already parked at the side of the
road--when two guys who had been parked east of me started to leave in
my direction. I managed to wave them down. In short, within
about half an hour, I was on my merry way again, with
renewed hope--that God knows where I am and He cares to send the very
best.
[God forever bless these two guys--whose
names I won't mention, lest they lose any fraction of their eternal
reward.]
This last I say because it is written,
Furthermore,
"A father 1
of the fatherless 3490,
and a judge 1781
of the widows 490,
[is] God 430
in his holy 6944
habitation 4583.
"God 430
setteth 3427
the solitary 3173
in families
1004: he bringeth out 3318 those which are bound 615 with chains 3574: but the rebellious 5637 dwell 7931 in
a dry 6707 [land]." Psalm
68:5-6
If we are beset by enemies [of whatever
kind], we say with David,
"[[To
the chief Musician, A Psalm [or] Song of David.]] Let
God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them
also that hate him flee before him.
"As
smoke is driven away, [so] drive [them] away: as wax melteth before the
fire, [so] let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
"But let the righteous be glad; let them
rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
"Sing
unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the
heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him." Psalm 68:1-4
Thus, we have the key to success.
After we have confessed our sins and repented, and confessed and
repented on behalf of our family [and anyone else the Holy Spirit has
put on our hearts], then we--like the prophet Daniel--are able to avail
ourselves of the blessings [whatever form they take] from our heavenly
Father. For it is written,
"But You [are] holy, Enthroned in the
praises of
Israel." Psalm
22:3
For the intrepid, who read the entirety of
Psalm 22, there is a payoff to the canyon of despair,
"To
the Chief Musician. Set to "The Deer of the Dawn." A Psalm of David. My
God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? [Why are You
so] far from helping Me, [And from] the words of My groaning?" Psalm 22:1
Notice that these are
Jesus words on the cross. In the midst of despair, verses 1 to
21, David [and therefore, by prophetic transference, by remez http://www.followtherabbi.com/Brix?pageID=5557,
our LORD Jesus] proclaims verse 3, above. This foreshadows a
magnificent crescendo of hope and triumph, verses 22 to 31. For
your situation, perhaps verse 24 is apropos:
"For
He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor
has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He
heard." Psalm 22:24
Finally, it is written,
"[Jesus
speaking] '...[Y]our
Father knows the things you have need of
before you
ask Him.' " Matthew 6:8 NKJV
To close, Paul prays,
"that He would grant you, according to the riches of
His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the
inner man,
"that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
"may be
able to comprehend with all the saints
what [is] the width and length and
depth and height--
"to know the love of Christ which passes
knowledge; that you may be filled with all the
fullness of God.
"Now to Him who is able to
do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works in us,
"to Him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all
generations, forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians
3:16-21
In HaShem,
Mike C.
