Hello,
John and Doves,
Phil,
maybe you're saying through the inspiration of the Ruach
HaKodesh,
"Defile not ye yourselves in any
of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you...." Leviticus 18:24
Or
perhaps,
"Regard not them that have
familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I [am] the LORD your God." Leviticus 19:31
After
all, Jesus quoted from Leviticus more than from any other book of the
Tanakh.
Indeed, of the unrighteous, the LORD says through
Isaiah,
"The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have
transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting
covenant." Isaiah
24:5
And
yet, there are those who please God:
"For the grace
of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all
men,
"Teaching us
that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly,
righteously, and godly, in this present world;
"Looking for
that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour
Jesus Christ;
"Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from
all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good
works." Titus
2:11-14
In the
same way that you delicately and deliberately delivered that dove out of
its house of bondage [Exodus 20:1-3], so shall God deliver us who follow
Him.
For it
is written,
"Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to
save, nor his ear too dull to
hear." Isaiah
59:1
And it
is written,
"Therefore He is also able to save to
the uttermost those who come to
God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for
them." Hebrews
7:25
The
ninety and nine shall not prevent the one lost sheep from being
found.
It is
written,
" 'What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is
straying?
" 'And
if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go
astray.
" 'Even
so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little
ones should perish.' " Matthew
18:12-14
In
HaShem,
Mike

"5
Doves"
John and Doves,
Don't laugh, ok?
This is true.
Early this morning I went into a public toilet with
5 cubicles and as I did a frightened bird flew out of #5,
the one at the
end of the row.
As it flew around I could see that it was a Dove. It went
back into #5 and rested on the floor where I was
nearly able to pick it up
and let it fly away to freedom. By the droppings on the floor in #5 it looked
like it
may have been there all night. It flew away again and landed near
the door so I was able to open it and
let it out and it quickly flew up
into a tree.
Is that a sign or what?
Keep looking
up.
Phil.
