"RE: Mercer--your post: "Why a 7 year Tribulation""

Hello, John and Doves,

Indeed, it is written,
" 'Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.' "  Daniel 9:24

Btw, 70 weeks is 5 years, 10 months.
75 days is 6 weeks, 3 days.

"For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights."
                                                                                Proverbs 3:12
"Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him," declares the LORD."  Jeremiah 31:20

In HaShem,
Mike C.

"Why a 7 year Tribulation?"

To all on Doves,

Why is there a tribulation?

1. to Judge the wicked(Grape Harvest)
2. To Bring Christians in name only to Christ (Wheat Harvest)
3. To have Israel call on His name
4. To set up Christ's millennium Kingdom
And I'm sure you all can add to this

Born again, bought by the blood of Jesus, Christians are made clean by His blood. Aren't we justified? Spotless in the eyes of the Father? For those who falsely have us in the tribulation......can you tell me why, if we truly are saved, could The Lord let us be in it? For what purpose? It flies in the face of what Jesus told us.

King James Bible
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
