"RE:  Richard L. Wills--your post:  "3 DAYS? or INSTANT?""

Hello, John and Doves,
Brother Richard, thanks for making plain the plain meaning of scripture.
Sometimes, I think even Christians forget to say a simple, quick prayer for guidance in reading the living Word of the one and only True and Living God.
He knows the questions of our hearts better than we do--even when we forget.
Once again, thank you, bro, for clearly having gone through the seven steps below,
laid out long ago by J. Vernon McGee, with the intent of ensuring profitable Bible study for all Christians.
1.    Pray for wisdom from the Holy Spirit to discern the meaning of scripture
2.    Read the Scriptures daily.
3.    Study what you read--compare scripture with scripture.
4.    Meditate on the spiritual insight given to you by the Holy Spirit.
5.    Read other's opinions--trustworthy commentaries on the Holy Scriptures, such as Wiersbe, MacArthur, McGee.
6.    Obey the Scriptures as God gives us the grace to obey.
7.    Share the Scriptures--i.e. give testimony and witness of your own relationship with our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ.
May this post find you and your family in the center of the perfect love, grace, and will of God.
Grace and Peace In HaShem [The Name],
Mike C.

"3 DAYS?  or INSTANT?"

1 Thess. 4:16-17  "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice
of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first: THEN we
which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP WITH THEM
in the
clouds, to
MEET the LORD in the air: and so shall WE
ever be WITH the Lord."
1 Corinthians 15:52 "In a MOMENT, in the twink-
ling of an eye,
for the trumpet
shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
