"I know thy works: behold I have set before  thee an open door, and no man can shut it! For thou has a little strength, and hast kept My Word, and hast not denied my name.  Because thou has kept the word of my patience, I  also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world to try them
that dwell upon the earth." Rev. 3:8,10
 
I have set before you an open door to keep you from the hour of temptation.  The door is open between the end of the Church Age and the beginning of the "curse" that devours the earth.  The hour of temptation is the appointed time of tribulation upon the unrighteous who dwell on earth.  Isa. Chp 24. This is known to be the seven years of tribulation before Christ returns to reign one thousand years on earth.
 
How long will the door be open? The amount of time allotted between the two dispensations is in the twinkling of an eye.  I Cor. 15:52.
 
The apostle Paul was given the revelation of the door opening unto heaven to the faithful in Christ in I Thess.4:16-18.
 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an arch angel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and shall we ever be with the Lord."  I Thess. 4:16, 17.
 
John also gives the account of the door of heaven opening in Rev. 4:1. "After I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven; and the first voice which I heard as as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither and I will show thee things which must be hereafter."
 
 
John represents the true church as written in Revelation 1: 1-8.  Note in verses m 5, 6 John writing to the Church, and that Jesus Christ washed us from our sins with His own shed blood and made us kings and priests unto God His Father.  Compare to Rev. 5: 9, 10 when the true church is in heaven before the start of the Great Tribulation.  "And they sang a new song." (Note that the church as described redeemed unto God by the blood of Jesus and He made unto us kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth.)  Saying , "thou art worthy to take the book , and to open the seals thereof: For thous wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by the blood, out of every kindred, and tongue and people , and nation; And has made us unto our God kings and priests! And we shall reign on earth." The body of Christ, the true church, is in heaven singing a new song before the tribulation begins.
 
Consider Enoch, and the body of Christ are translated for the same reason: that they should not see death!
By faith Enoch  was translated as so the faithful in Christ are translated.  Hebrews 11:5,6; I Thess. 4: 16-18.
 
The seven years of Tribulation, the hour of temptation, is the appointed time when the curse of the law devours the earyth. Isa. Chp 24.
 
God has not appointed the body of Christ to the wrath of the Tribulation!  I Thess. 5:9. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.  Gal. 3:13.
 
The Spirit of Truth is with holding the endo of the Chruch Age and the beginning of the Tribulation. The Spirit of Truth abides in the body of Christ wars against the false doctrine through lies and deception of Satan.  When those who are in Christ are translated they who have rejected the love of the truth will remain to be damned. He (the spirit of truth in Christ) who not letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 2nd Thes 2:6-12
 
The open door to heaven is in a twinkling of the eye.. be ready!
