"Special thank you to Marilyn Agee for your long time commitment"

Dear Marilyn,
Just a short note to tell you how much I appreciate your long time faithfulness to keep watching and sharing what you see as maybe the time. I know that when so much time goes by and with many who probably respond with negative attitudes it must be tempting at times to just quit. But your hard work (and that of so many others too - you all know who you are), is a constant source of inspiration and encouragement for so many, myself included and I just wanted to say so. The closer we get the more we see until finally we will know we are going home and we will. But I feel a special kinship with you, Marilyn, even though at times I have disagreed with something and said so, I do not feel any such disagreement overall because we are both seeking the same hope. But it was you many years ago and one of your books "End of the Age" that got me seriously back into watching everyday and I have been ever since. In fact it was likely through your site that I found the Five Doves a long time back.
Anyway, I just felt as I was reading your latest post on the Doves, that I wanted to acknowledge you and the special feelings of warmth and kinship I feel for you and am sure that many others feel the same. Won't it be wonderful to get to meet everyone of the Doves and post friends soon!
I hope this isn't out of line, but some years back I checked out of the local library on DVD the old movie "Around the World in 80 Days" and watched it for the first time ever. I was immediately struck with the impressive nature of the main character of Phileas Fogg (played by David Niven) and his never say die attitude in the face of every kind of set back as he found a reason and a means to keep going. I was inspired by that character and love that attitude because it is something that I have not been known for myself. I get discouraged so easily and want to quit at the slightest setback. Anyway, you remind me of that character.
I know that there are many watchers but I don't know how many out there have been at it as long as you have.
Thank you for that and hope to see you soon at the big supper!
