Dee,A while back I too was struck by the analogy of the resurrection of Lazarus at Bethany occurring after a two days delay (corresponding to 2000 years) and the time to travel to Bethany (another two days) making a total of four days (corresponding to 4000 years) that Lazarus was dead.Young's Analytical Concordance gives the following information on Bethany:"A village at the Mount of Olives. Its modern name is el-Azariyeh or Lazarieh is derived from Lazarus. It is about 2 miles east of Jerusalem near the road from Jericho to the city."A straight line originating at the center of the Great Pyramid in Egypt at 26 degrees, 18' 9.7" passes though Bethlehem as well as the approximate place along the Jordan River where John the Baptist performed baptisms. It also is in the region where the Israelites crossed the Jordan as they passed into the Promised Land near Jericho. It occurred to me that this line extended might also pass through Bethany, or el-Azariyeh, Israel. It was difficult for me to verify on the maps I found on the Internet so I sent my question to a geography siteand will let you know when and if I receive an answer. Such a verification would be expected if the Bethlehem angle points to places that were, and are to be,important in the life and return of Jesus. Many believe the chronology of Jesus' birth, death and resurrection are foretold by the measurements along the interior passageways in the Great Pyramid, as well as many other facts concerning the earth, sun and moon. The angle at which the passageways ascend, or descend, is 26 degrees, 18' 9.7". The books by Bonnie Gaunt are an excellent source for more information on the Pyramid in prophecy.Robert
