From: Marilyn AgeeRe: Bruce Warner, "AN ANSWER FOR MARLYN AGEE"Hi:> > We are in agreement that Pentecost separates the 'Barley harvest' from the 'Wheat harvest'. Likewise the rapture separates the 'Bride of Christ' (Barley harvest) from the 'Multitudes of the Church' (Wheat harvest). I believe that ALL references to 'Firstfruits' apply only to the Barley harvest (Bride of Christ). The Wheat harvest is 'secondfruits', so to speak.> > In (Leviticus 23:16) the early 'Wheat harvest' is referred to as 'NEW GRAIN', NOT 'Firstfruits', and is prepared as a 'grain offering'."Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an OFFERING OF NEW GRAIN to the Lord."There are the first and last of the firstfruits though. Let's see if I can sort this out.WE ARE "A KIND OF FIRSTFRUITS," BARLEY, WISE VIRGINSJames 1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be A KIND OF FIRSTFRUITS OF HIS CREATURES."
The wise virgin firstfruits could be caught up on Pentecost.
THE FOOLISH VIRGIN TRIBULATION SAINTS, ARE ANOTHER KIND OF FIRSTFRUITS, WHEATThe foolish virgin firstfruits could be caught up on Trumpets. De 16:13 (JPS) says, "Thou shalt keep the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in from thy threshing-floor and from thy winepress."THE 144,000 ISRAELITES ARE ALSO FIRSTFRUITS OF WHEATRev 14:3,4 says, "they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but THE HUNDRED AND FORTY AND FOUR THOUSAND, WHICH WERE REDEEMED FROM THE EARTH. These are they which were not defiled with women; for THEY ARE VIRGINS. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. THESE WERE REDEEMED FROM AMONG MEN, being the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and to the Lamb."
THEREFORE, THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF FIRSTFRUITS, THE FIRST AND THE LASTLev 23:16,17 says, "unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days (i.e., on Pentecost); and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD. YE SHALL BRING OUT OF YOUR HABITATIONS TWO WAVE LOAVES of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; THEY ARE THE FIRSTFRUITS unto the LORD."TWO LOAVES of leavened bread are baked and waved on Pentecost. Do they represent the 10 virgins, the 5 wise virgins taken on Pentecost and the 5 foolish virgins left behind to be caught up on Trumpets? Then does one loaf represent the Pre-Trib-Rapture saints caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture on Pentecost and the other loaf represent the Pre-Wrath-Rapture saints that are left behind on Pentecost to be caught up in the Pre-Wrath Rapture on Trumpets?IT LOOKS LIKE THE WISE VIRGINS, THE FIRST OF THE FIRSTFRUITS, WILL BE RAPTURED ON PENTECOSTEx 23:16,19,20 says, "the feast of harvest (Pentecost), the FIRSTFRUITS of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field...The FIRST OF THE FIRSTFRUITS of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God....Behold, I SEND AN ANGEL BEFORE THEE, TO KEEP THEE IN THE WAY, AND TO BRING THEE INTO THE PLACE WHICH I HAVE PREPARED." That describes a Rapture.Ex 34:22,26 says, "thou shalt observe the feast of weeks (Pentecost), of the FIRSTFRUITS OF WHEAT HARVEST...The FIRST OF THE FIRSTFRUITS of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God.IT LOOKS LIKE THE FOOLISH VIRGINS, THE TRIBULATION SAINTS, THE LAST OF THE FIRSTFRUITS, WILL BE RAPTURED ON TRUMPETS
Luke 3:17 says of the Lord, "Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will GATHER THE WHEAT INTO HIS GARNER; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable." That happens on Trumpets, the Day of God's Wrath.
Mt 13:30 says, "Let both (i.e., Tribulation saints and tares) grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest (i.e., on the Feast of Trumpets) I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but GATHER THE WHEAT INTO MY BARN."THE REAPING OF THE TRIBULATION SAINTS IS ON THE DAY OF GOD'S WRATHRev 6:17 says, "For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"Rev 7:9,14 says, "AFTER THIS I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands...THESE ARE THEY WHICH CAME OUT OF GREAT TRIBULATION, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."Rev 14:14-16 says, "behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And HE THAT SAT ON THE CLOUD THRUST IN HIS SICKLE ON THE EARTH; AND THE EARTH WAS REAPED."
THE REST ARE CAST INTO THE WINEPRESS OF GOD'S WRATH
Rev 14:17-19 says, "And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe (Trumpets is at the time of the vintage). And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God."
