"Re: Pentecost Revisited"

Dear Brother Riley,

I enjoyed your new article on Pentecost. I found it very interesting that you did not give the date of Pentecost.

Also, I noticed that you did not mention the end of the 42nd second year and the beginning of the 43rd in June.

I am so glad that you left them hanging to find out all of the details on their own.  They don’t appreciate you

the way they should.  It sounds like you truly believe it has to be on Pentecost.  It was so interesting to see

how you referred to the Festival instead of the Feasts,  I knew if anyone in this world could figure it out, it would

be you.  There is no way this world can make it until next year.

I would love to know which statement in the book of Ruth lead you to believe the rapture was not in 2008.  It

looks like everything leads up to this year for the Rapture of the Church.

Good job on the article and may God Bless You.  See you soon.

Kay

Dear sister Kay,

Like I said in my study, I could have listed numerous reasons in the study for why 2009 is the year for the resurrection and rapture of God's people.  That would have included pointing out that this is the 42nd year and that the 43rd year begins in June.  I didn't list the reasons because I wanted to keep the study as short as possible, and still emphasize Pentecost.

Yes, I am becoming more and more convinced every day that the Lord is coming for us on Pentecost.  However, I am not and will not be "dogmatic."  I am setting forth Pentecost as nothing more than an extremely good "possibility" until the Lord Himself gives us even more light on the time of His coming to resurrect and rapture His people to glory.

But last night I counted 2,520 days from Pentecost, May 31st, Sivan 8 on the Jewish calendar, and found that it will end exactly on the first day of "Unleavened Bread," April 23, 2016, which is Abib [Nisan] 15 on the Jewish calendar.  I think this is fantastic.  This date is one day past the Biblical Passover on Abib 14.  I am sure that because that date will be the last day of the Tribulation, the redeemed Jews will not be able to keep the Passover or even observe "Unleavened Bread" that month.  Dead bodies will be everywhere throughout Israel and the whole world, and the Jews will be "defiled" with those dead bodies.
This will mean that the redeemed Jews will then very likely observe their first Passover in the Millennial Kingdom at the second Passover authorized in Numbers 9:6-14, 30 days later in the second month on May 23, 2016.  This could very well explain where the extra 30 days and the "blessing" of Daniel 12:12 fits into the prophetic picture.  Glory!  Remember what the Lord told His Jewish disciples in Luke 22:15-16.
This would also allow a 30 day mourning period for the death of the "High Priest" [Numbers 20:29], when they realize that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself is indeed their Messiah, their Savior, and their "High Priest," whom their forefathers rejected and crucified some 2,000 years ago.  Read Zechariah 12:10-14 and 13:6.  But the end of that 30 days could easily be the time the Lord will "turn their mourning into joy," Jeremiah 31:13, as they and the Lord Himself observe that 2nd Passover together.  Glory!

Sister, I don't know how much of this scenario will prove to be exactly correct as I presently think upon these things, but I know the "possibilities" are there, and I just rejoice for the Jewish remnant as I think upon them.  And most certainly I rejoice at the very prospect of us New Testament believers going "home" in another 44 days.  Praise the Lord!

As to that passage in the Book of Ruth you asked about.....  It is in Ruth 2:23.  I knew when I reread the passage along with Psalm 108:6 [future tense], that if Ruth, a type of the Gentile bride of Christ, continued to glean in the fields of Boaz until "the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest," then the church would not be raptured last year.  But this is a new year and I have found no good [Scriptural] reason why the rapture should not take place this year.  Quite to the contrary, I have found many reasons why 2009 is the year of the resurrection and rapture.  Pentecost Biblically and historically marks the official end of the Barley harvest, which grain is a type of the Gentiles.  Sister, it certainly appears to me that we New Testament believers are going "home" in a few more days.  Praise the Lord!

God bless you dear sister.  Just keep looking up!  We children of God will all meet together very soon now at the great "family reunion" in glory.  Praise the Lord!  Pray for me.
