"Not so arrogant here! but Mr. O's true colors are showing."

Is it me or was the U.S. president not so at ease answering questions without prior notice of what those questions would be? The man embarrassed a little to me I must say.  And did I see strings attached to him?  We know who was pulling them!! a hint...last name starts with P and R!

Him, who so far, has portrayed nothing else but a self-confidence spilling over onto the arrogant side, him whom we have learn to recognized from his swagger, his "oh" so well spoken speeches, and, him who just recently acted so "enraged" by the CEO's of AIG, and his firing the GM's CEO.  Where was that guy?  I had really prayed for a Godly president, but Your will be done Lord as in Heaven.

All I could do then was shake my head, wanting to say, "Dude, you kewl man and you know it, So now, chill a bit kiddo."  Watching him now, in front of millions, representing our Country, answering questions from the world's representatives, all I can do now, is shake my head again, this time not sure of what to say as I don't like ugly, therefore will not speak mean.   However to me, it was awkwaaard!!. To see how his countenance changed and slipped down a few notches made me hope the world saw it too.  I felt like perhaps he  wanted to scoot down really fast under the podium he was speaking from and close his eyes and pretend all this did not just happen. (I used to do that when I was a kid, hide, close my eyes and if could not see anyone then they could not see me either)  I do not speak as an expert in body language but I believe that many of the world leaders and citizens of the countries who watched him, saw the shoulders slump, the head not so high anymore, the silly grins on his face, even the silliest jokes he made.  The world must have seen a very different person than the one they saw during his campaign.  He is very good when his speeches are rehearsed and with a prompter, but on his own and without preparations to me he came across as a joke, I was embarrassed by it.  But these are just my perceptions and they may be very different than yours, or maybe you all saw that too??

The interesting thing is that since his start as our president I have asked The Holy Spirit to show us Obama's "true" colors and I am also now wondering if the people who were so entranced by him during his campaign still "adore" him now as they did then.  Someone would really have to be totally blinded by him to not have seen our "used to be" "cocky president" reduced to a blabbering mess.  But the most memorable moments of his speaking were when his uneasiness and his greenness showed.  Was there not a slight hint of annoyance, bordering on anger, when he did not get ALL that he wanted from this conference?  Did I perceived the demeanor of someone holding their breath when they are about to throw a tantrum?  Those who saw the telecast, the ones who are walking side by side with the Holy Spirit that is, must have seen those signs of the discomfort he portrayed, the inability to answer many questions with confidence, some questions he did not even answer (was that an hint that something more sinister will be plotted behind closed doors?) And was he almost "flirting" with an Indian reporter?   To me it was very sad to see, yet so very revealing.

May God call His Children Home soon. Please Lord, I for one am ready to go, I am ready for my wedding, I want to say I do to my Groom.  Please, Lord, but while I am here waiting for you Lord, grant me the wisdom to serve you as you ask me too.  I am ready to listen Lord, thank You for Your patience Lord, Your love like no other love, I am waiting for you Lord, Holy Spirit guide me, sit on me if you have to in order to stop me from doing something stupid, with good intentions but still stupid.  I love you Lord.  Lord Jesus, please intercede for me on how to pray for this man, does he have any chances at all Lord?  Please guide me, Holy Spirit, send me wisdom please, because I am very confused! But Oh so ready for you Lord!  Thank you, Father.

I love you my Brothers and Sisters In Christ Jesus, if for no other reasons that what Jesus has asked us to do.  But I love God first! !!

Barbara

P.S.  Praying that the US will show restrain when the G20 come here, may we show the world that we can stage our disagreements with firmness yet in a peaceful manner.  Lord, please, give us all wisdom regarding how to make our outrages show.  Thank You , Amen
