Hi Frank. I came across the John Todd video through the close relation of subject matter with my own video. I don't know a lot about the man. I first heard of him years ago on a video talk by Al Neal. Al shares some of the history of the Collins family (inspiration for that old TV show "Dark Shadows") and mentions this one having come out of there with these stories. Their name was changed to Todd (Mary Todd Lincoln was one) to deal with the negative aspect of the Collins name. Neal is quite a thorough investigator and does much to expose some of these things too and I assumed his to be endorsement enough. Anyway, I will let the Holy Spirit lead in this and all matters where discernment is called for. Obviously if someone were to come out of that life there would be a transition period that would be very rough and fraught with danger and trouble. One thought comes to my mind: If we could go back in time to the days following Apostle Paul's conversion from Saul the Pharisee, would we not be subject to similar negative reports circulating for years seeking to discredit his testimony? Were some not saying of him, "He's still an enemy pretending to have converted but really still wants to destroy us all; He speaks evil of some of our beloved leaders and calls them of the devil; Look at him now, He is in prison for all sorts of horrible crimes..." etc. The official state sponsored publications about Paul must have had a field day concerning him, and his contemporaries must have needed to sort it out and come to a decision as to whether to trust him or not. Small wonder that Paul himself would have to keep reminding them not to believe the reports against him or to be not ashamed of his bonds etc. Anyway, if God would not protect Apostle Paul in his day against the negative reports of his detractors, should we expect more today if this man is truly a converted witch? Use discernment when hearing any report about anyone. Know no man after the flesh. I was not aware of the accusations that you mention against this person, but I suggest Holy Spirit discernment in all such matters and that we lean not to our own understanding. Beyond that I don't know...
