Not since Israel, again, miraculously became a nation in 1948 will the Lord
provide the Church with such a tremendous evangelistic tool. But He will do so
in the form of another fulfilled prophecy with the destruction of Damascus,
Syria. Damascus is the oldest, continuously occupied city in the world. But
3000 years ago, the prophet Isaiah wrote:

"Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous
heap." Isaiah 17:1

Israel has stated if they're attacked by Hizbullah forces, which have
threatened the Jewish state with cross-border rocket fire, they will hold
Damascus accountable. Damascus is going to be destroyed, and it may be nearer
than you think.
