Dear Brother Samson, thanks so much for the post re non judgmentalism. You know, a lot of people don't use the same semantics or other liguistic thingsbeing from various countries on this forum. Also, some of those who do speakEnglish, actually speak it as a 2nd or 3rd language. I think we need to recognizethat as well. It's not uncommon to have the same meaning in our hearts and yeta different word on occasion.I was never of the catholic faith , but rather grew up attending Baptist churches. So that has nothing to do at all with my use of the precious words "Holy Communion".To me, this act of love to Him who died for us is not mere ritual, but is rathera serious act of love and worship and as the scripture says, it is done inremembrance of Him. It is a very intense and holy part of our worship andcommunion with Him. It is very intimate, just as it should be, as I see it and that'sthe way I experience it. As often as we do this, we do it in remembrance of Him.God honors this act of love and it is not only us communing with Him, but isalso Him communing with us as He receives this part of our worship and reverenceand thanksgiving to Him. While we do commune with our Lord in other waysdaily, we can take the cup of blessing as well and it is truly a cup of blessing andan honor. So many answered prayers and various spiritual blessings occur foran awful lot of people who understand this type of communion.God looks on our hearts everytime, all of the time, and completely .For anyone who may not have read Samson's post go hereGod's Blessings to All
