"Leesha Lake  RE: The most beautiful rainbow"

Michael Westphall (5 Apr 2008)

Thanks for posting such a beautiful picture of the rainbow!  It is a coincidence or God-incidence, I would not know, but since reading Michael’s Westphall’s posting  "Storms Of Life And Rainbows Of Promise" http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/apr2008/michaelw45.htm , about a rainbow he saw some time back, I asked the Lord, in turn, to give us a rainbow as sign of His soon coming -   this was on the 6th of April.

In fact,  we did see a rainbow on the 5th March, that was definitely not for me, but for my son.  He was given the marching orders to take over,  one of his least of the favourite libraries and for a fortnight.  The Lord had his purpose,  but my son was digging his toes and refusing to go over to the library, though I pointed out to him that it could be the Lord wanting him to go; and in desperation, when we started having rain that  evening I went to the window and looked out for a rainbow and then told the Lord “Lord, if you really want him to go, please give him a rainbow” and I just left it at that. Later,  I was in the shower when my son came, and excitedly said “ I have seen a beautiful rainbow, while I was driving home”. After I told him my request to  Lord,   he decided,  that he would not take the path of Jonah and went meekly to the library.  He was not disappointed, as a TL he touched many there and his less than unpleasant experience he had there two years back was erased.  So that rainbow, I never saw, for I completely missed it,  was for my son.

Hence when I read Michael’s posting,  I, like Gideon, asked again for a rainbow. Mind you,  we had not seen one since 31st Dec, 2007 and that too had to do with my son’s job.  The only snag is we hardly have decent rainbows for our skies are sprayed with chemtrails, contrails, and DU covers everything, so it is hard to see a rainbow, even though the conditions may be perfect.  Normally it is between 3 hours of sunrise and 3 hours before sunset , and on the opposite side of the sun, for the rays to refract through the water droplets in the sky/ clouds;  and of course, since we came to the Lord, this has held a special significance for us.   So I knew it was dicey to get one, but knowing that all things are possible with Him, I asked.

On the 7th April, the very next day after reading Michael’s posting  ,  there was a rainbow in the sky but it was a partial rainbow and it was all broken up.  16 years ago on 7th April 1992, the Lord physically came and touched me in my room and at that time I was still an unbeliever. The next month on the 8th May we converted. On 9th June (Shavuot ) we were baptized. So I was thrilled to get it on the 7th! Like the Lord renewing His promise once again.

Again, I asked for a perfect rainbow this time, as a sign.  Yesterday, 14th April,  we saw a perfect rainbow around 4:50pm.  It was very unusual, for they did not forecast a storm, and it was quite hot; in fact we were having an Indian summer, in Autumn. Moreover out of the blues,  we had this horrible storm for just 15 minutes.  There was thunder, lightning (1500 lightning strikes) wild wind, and to boot it hailstones. In the midst of this the sun started shining and we saw this beautiful rainbow.  And within this short time everything took place and after that there was perfect calm.  The saying goes that calm before the storm, but here  this was the very reverse.  Everything subsided and even the wind died down and there was not even the slightest breeze;  only the front pavers of the drive way was wet.  It was incredible.  But our banana trees in the backyard had their leaves all shred to ribbons in that short while.  My son at his work place about 14km from ours did not experience anything.  It was all calm over there.

Now this morning I read your post with that beautiful rainbow and  I realised that the Lord was reiterating his point.  We have been disappointed these past 5 years waiting for the rapture,  and I guess He wants us to be ready and not be apathetic this time?  Thank you once again for posting it.

Even so come Lord Jesus!
