"Stacey Hannah - re Spring"

Stacey - I was so saddened to hear your story of losing your precious little girl. Well, maybe she was grown, but they are always our LITTLE ones and so dear to our hearts! My daughter is grown too, but to me, she is still my little girl! How wonderful that God showed your daughter to you just as you remember her! I truly do hope that we are going this Spring, and perhaps the nearness of that event is why you had this occurrence - I hope so!!!  Like Tng, I too wonder about whether the rapture will come in Spring or Fall, or even having anything to do with a typical feast day.

Song of Solomon, most theologians believe, is a picture of Jesus speaking to the church and points to the Spring. Course we know that parts of the world have Spring when others have Winter, but we can go with what happens in Israel since that is where Jesus was born. Many prophecy preachers believe it will be during the Feast of Trumpets (i e Perry Stone) due to the fact that Jesus fulfilled the first THREE Jewish feasts, then at the Fourth - Pentecost - the Holy Spirit came down to "birth" the church. Then Jesus will fulfill the LAST three feasts that occur in the Fall - starting with Trumpets which will be the main rapture. Perry believes that the barley harvest (also see the Book of Ruth) is a type of the rapture before the trib; the wheat harvest typifies the trib saints; the grape harvest typifies the "gleanings" at the end of the age. He describes how when you harvest BARLEY, it does not need crushing, you just throw it up in the air and the wind separates out the chaff. When you harvest wheat, it must be crushed and pounded (like the believers will be during the Trib). And when you harvest grapes, they are trodden down, beaten, squeezed out - like the gleanings. He makes a good study and has a DVD on this study of the feasts at his website. I am not affiliated with brother Stone, but he often visits our church. You can get his studies at this link:  https://store.voe.org/c-7-dvds.aspx.  I would also highly recommend any of his other studies, including the one called: The Apparitions of Mary - where he shows the connection that Islam has with Catholicism and how God will possibly use Fatima to bring them together in the last days. I've also heard some prophecy teachers talk about how there will be 112 popes and Benedict XVi is number 111. Though many believe there will be ONE more, I recently heard a prophecy teacher say that he believes Benedict IS the LAST pope and that he is the one who will bring about the merger of apostate Christianity. Hmmmm....interesting number - that 111 is it not?  I do not know why this is, but there is something about this man that makes me think of reptile.

There are also other prophecy teachers who do not think that the rapture will even occur on a Jewish feast day and some who think that since Jesus said he will come back just as he left - this could mean that since the church was filled with the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, the completed body will go UP on Pentecost. OR that it will occur on the feast of first fruits or on ascension day  (I guess you can tell I have a passion for prophecy too!) After I got saved, when I first heard about the rapture, I thought wow! - all this time, this wonderful thing has been kept from me! I was so excited and still am about the rapture and it has been more than 20 years now.  Anyway, I also started reading besides the Bible --all the prophecy books I could find. I have probably read more than a thousand books on prophecy written by various authors over the years and am still an avid reader. Perry Stone certainly makes some excellent points in his DVD such as the fact that Trumpets was a day that no one could know exactly. Then again, RUTH is such a great picture of the bride of Christ and the story of Ruth happens during the barley harvest which is spring. Ruth is lying at the feet of Boaz, her kinsman redeemer on the threshing floor, safe and sound.  Ruth is the gentile bride and pictures the church to be - married to the Jewish redeemer. Esther is a Jewish bride married to a gentile. As I am writing this, CNN just came on and said an earthquake occurred in Calif/Nev. Will the rapture happen on a traditional Jewish feast day? No one really knows. The church is made up of gentiles and jews. God certainly has not kept us in darkness and we know we are definitely in the SEASON of the time of his return.
