Thanks Barry for bringing out attention to the movie coming out this Spring called "88 Minutes".
We note the release date is 4/18/2008.
It is indeed an interesting choice of numbers - well one really - 8. And indeed, as Barry says, most of us know that the Greek gematria for Jesus adds to 888. But there are other connections such as the twin towers light memorial consisting of 2 x 44 xenon lights shining up into the sky. Then, one year and one month and one day after 9/11 we had the Bali bombing in which we are told 88 Australians died. And 88 = 8 x 11 anyway.
But anyway, here we have two dramatic connections with the number '88' - ie 9/11 and the Bali Bombing.
From 9/11/2001 to 4/18/2008 is 2411 days or 6 yrs 7 mths and 7 days.
2+4+1+1 = 8.
And from 12/10/2002 (Bali) to 4/18/2008 is 2015 days or 5 yrs 6 mths and 6 days.
2+1+5 = 8.
So here we get an '88' formed from having added the two day gaps. Is this not remarkable?
677 and 566 are an interesting pairing too.
677 + 566 = 1243 = 113 x 11.
6+7+7+5+6+6 = 37
6 x 7 x 7 = 294
5 x 6 x 6 = 180
294 + 180 = 474
From 4/18/2008 to Beijing Olympics 8/8/2008 is 112 days = 16 weeks = 16 x 7 = 4 x 7 x 4.
Two occurrences of 474.
