"re: Cinda Godfrey - Question About Food Shortages?"
Dear Sister,
My first thought when reading your post was that your priorities are correct, to trust in the Lord Jesus no matter what.
It
would seem to me that storing up food and supplies is a wise and
prudent thing to do under any circumstances, be it due to war, natural
disaster, terrorism, a breakdown of society, famine, disease, you name
it.
I too believe that Christ will be coming for us before such
events increase in their frequency and intensity, but I would still
suggest storing food and other necessities in a safe place, with your
testimony, Bibles, highlighted Scriptures, etc., so that perhaps your
hidden supplies might serve as a Christian witness to someone or some
group of people left behind.
Perhaps a note saying something like:
"To
Whomever finds these supplies: I am so terribly sorry that you and
perhaps your loved ones are suffering during this difficult time, and
yet even now Jesus Christ has seen fit to lead you to this food and
other supplies to help you survive. Whatever you do, do NOT take any
sort of 'mark' or implant into your body in exchange for some promise
of economic freedom or safety. That is the mark of Antichrist and it
will doom you eternally. Place your faith in the King of kings and Lord
of lords, Who is able to save BOTH body and soul from the fires of
Hell, just as He has provided this meal and more to you this day, His
Name is Jesus, and He is coming in Judgment and Glory soon, and we will
be with Him! Hope to see you then! Until that time, "Give thanks to the
Lord for He is Good, for His Mercy endureth forever, Amen!"
I can see no harm, and perhaps a lot of good from something like that Cinda.
The Lord be with you!
