Thank you for saying what I have always been told by the Holy Spirit is the
truth.

There are those of us who have been chastized for even implicating it is
possible
for an individual to be separated from God after saying the sinners prayer.

Although no external  force can snatch you out of God's hand (John 10:28)
the Holy
Spirit taught me it is possible to CHOOSE to leave God behind and continue
on your way.

He gave an example of this exact scenario in the Children of Israel leaving
Egypt - Jude referred to this
in Jude 1:5.  They were saved by God right?  Then were destroyed by God
right?  They were saved
but lost their salvation because of UNBELIEF (Num 21:5).  This tells me it
is possible to lose your salvation.
This is why Peter said that we are to make our calling and election sure (2
Peter 1:10).
Again WE need to make our calling and election sure By what?  by continuing
in the confidence firm
until the end (Heb 3:10).  Confidence in what? Confidence in the finished
work of Christ.

To Georgia Kelly and Peggy I agree if you are saved and stray the Lord will
bring you back.  However,
if you do this over and over again the Lord is just to let you alone - he
will never violate an act of
your will.  This is not to say He won't try to get you back on track.  In
the end though He will
never violate an act of your will.

        Heb 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of
entering into his rest,
                       any of you should seem to come short of it.

Those that have ears let them hear.
