Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding
calculate the number of the beast, for it is the
number of a man: His number is 666.
John the revelator's call for wisdom and understanding
are two qualities associated with King Solomon.
Solomon is recorded as the wisest man that ever lived.
At the height of Solomon's glory he received an annual
income of 666 talents of gold, not including the
income from traders, Kings of Arabia and district
governors. As a result of the dizzying abundance of
wealth, Solomon's heart turned away from the Lord and
he began to break the laws of God and godly Kingship.
He fell into idolatry and deep apostasy.
Learning from Solomon's example, ancient Hebrews
understood the number 666 to be a fearful sign of
apostasy.
Could it be that man has been measured (numbered)?"

It reminds me of the passage below, where the meaning
of "Mene" which was repeated twice was "God has
numbered your kingdom, and finished it". That world
population number could be a big endtime sign. . .
Daniel 5:23-28 (New King James Version)

23 And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of
heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house
before you, and you and your lords, your wives and
your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you
have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and
iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or
know; and the God who holds your breath in His hand
and owns all your ways, you have not glorified. 24
Then the fingers of the hand were sent from Him, and
this writing was written. 25 "And this is the
inscription that was written:
MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
26 This is the interpretation of each word. MENE: God
has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; 27 TEKEL:
You have been weighed in the balances, and found
wanting; 28 PERES: Your kingdom has been divided, and
given to the Medes and Persians."

Line upon line, precept upon precept... Amen!!! This
scripture certainly lends even more light... And our
Kingdom is currently being threatened by the Medes and
Persians! (Iran)
