"Rev. Jeremiah Wright's press conference, 4-28-08"

Dear friends:

This morning, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obamas' long-time pastor
and spiritual mentor, had a one-hour press conference before the
National Press Club.  It was one of the most shocking performances I
have ever seen.

He was asked many questions and every one of his answers just dripped
with racism and hatred.  Racism literally consumes this man.  He
sarcastically defended his past controversial, anti-American and
racist comments and was totally, totally unrepentant.

Wright charged that all the attacks against him were really not
against him or Barack Obama, but were attacks against the black
church!  This is absurd, and an offense against the many excellent
black churches and the millions of committed black Christian brothers
and sisters whom I have learned to love.

Black TV journalist Juan Williams reacted strongly, saying that what
Wright has said is not heard in other black churches.  Juan Williams
and other commentators said this would be very damaging to Obama, and
that Wright doesn't seem to care that he may prevent the first black
candidate from being President, and that the whole interview was an
exercise in Wright's ego and self-gratification .

Most eye-opening was when a question was asked about Jesus' statement
that "I am the way, and the truth, and the life, and no one comes to
the Father but by me."  The questioner pointedly asked, "Is Islam
another way to heaven?"

To answer, instead of defending the gospel and Jesus' unique
sacrifice, Wright stepped up to the microphone and all he did was
quote Jesus words, "Other sheep I have, which are not of this
fold."  He then backed away from the microphone, smiling smugly,
obviously very proud of himself and this inclusive but anti-biblical
statement.  In effect, Wright clearly said, yes, Islam is another way
to heaven!  Blasphemy!  Wright is obviously not a true Christian, and
it makes one wonder about Obama.

All his words were disturbing, and should be offensive to every
person, especially Christians, regardless of race.

Most disturbing was the thought that candidate Barack Hussein Obama
deliberately chose this sick and twisted man to be his spiritual
mentor and guru for 20 years, and Obama now claims he never realized
Wright's radical views!  Such a claim of ignorance is obviously
impossible.  One can only conclude that Wright's non-Christian,
racist and anti-American attitudes have deeply affected his long-time
disciple, Barack Obama.  This explains how Obama can support
unrestricted abortion and homosexuality.

Every American of every race should be greatly concerned at this threat.

A revealing side note on the news today is that Jeremiah Wright has
received death threats and is now being protected by goons from his
good friend, ultra-racist Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam.
