Dear Douglas,As with the Hebrews walking towards the water with the Egyptians behind them, God will meet your every need. The greater the need the more spectacular the glory of God's when He provides for you, and He will provide for you. He has already promised to do that.
Sometimes it is hard to get up in the morning and give thanks, knowing it is going to be a difficult day, but give thanks anyway. Search for things to be greatful for before you go to bed at night, write them down on a pad next to your bed (or your hand if you don't have paper) and first thing when you wake up start thanking God. (involve your children - that way they will know it is from the Lord) It will change your focus and when God provides for you you will be looking for the provision and already in the greatful mode.
I have some friends that are always living on the edge. They have six children and one more on the way. They have no real steady income. I love to call them just to hear what God has done for them that day. Truly amazing things that some would look at as ordinary, but because they have to trust Him for EVERYTHING the way in which our gracious Father has taken care of them is nothing short of a miraculous.
Keep the faith Douglas, read the word, pray until something happens, pray for guidance and wisdom, and then pray some more with gratidude. We will be praying for you and your family here too.
Your sister in Christ,
Jill
