Wheat most always has traded to a premium to Barley, which will always make 60 pounds of Wheat more costly than 48 pounds of Barley in bushel terms even without the pound differential.

But you threw so many variables onto the table, and I'm just not sure how they all fit with the basic core of Revelation 6:6.

But I can't see what you seem to see either in that regard.

Variables such as the current U.S. workers average wage, and the Federal minimum wage, and other such factors plays little significance in the overall scheme of things.

It is all about a GLOBAL grain shortage, and the price which those particular commodities will command in order for Revelation 6:6 to be fulfilled.

The World demand for those commodities will be the overriding factor, for when Revelation 6:6 is fulfilled.

We just know that demand will override supply to push prices to prophetic heights, and it will be at a time of dearth throughout the World as the 3rd Seal Black Horse of famine rides ahead of multitudes dying of hunger, among other things under the 4th Seal Pale Horse.

That is really the bottom line of things, and not what the real calculation of what Wheat and Barley prices will be--although I think that we have a pretty good idea of that now.
