"Thank you Marilyn Agee"
Dear John, Marilyn, and all doves,
Thank you Marilyn for your kind and detailed response. It is only in
recent years that I have asked why a Sabbath of day 7 was a command in
the 10 statements or commands. In saying He is Master of the Sabbath,
He then says that the Torah and the Prophets will remain and apply as
long as there are Heaven and Earth. In essence, it is about these
being binding rather than loosed. The Earth will be here for His reign
of the 1000 years as will Heaven with The New Jerusalem therein. Will
the 10 commands only apply to the seed of Isaac on earth during the
1000 year reign of Christ/ Messiah? That would imply a kingdom come of
a kingdom divided of seed of Issac or gentiles. Would the Kingdom Come
be a oneness or a twoness? Would it be segregated? We know there will
be a Sabbath in the Kingdom according to Isaiah 66. Which day might it
be, day 7 or 1 or another?
I
honestly believe that the day 7 of every week is a day set apart from
the rest of the week. I value day 7 each week because I want to follow
His example. There was one day of Resurrection for our Master. If He
lived to be 33 years old we can multiply 33 years by 50 weeks and get
1650 weeks and 1650 Sabbaths. He perfectly lived each one . In
sincerity, Marilyn, I am not convinced that over 1650 Sabbaths for Him
then changed to another day. As to when He rose again, it was before
the women arrived at the tomb before sunrise of day 1. It is not clear
to me if it was very late on day 7 or before sunrise on day 1.
There was little time to do the work with the aloes and spices before
sundown. Would they have tried to do a rush job before sundown? I think
they would have tried to do so . Sundown began the feast of Unleavened
Bread. As you know, it was a Sabbath on which no work was to be done.
Passover day was not an additional Sabbath. The work could be done on
that day.The Master will lead us on some Sabbath day of His and Abba
Father's choosing. May we look forward to each detail of living in His
and Abba Father's Kingdom Come. Thank you again Marilyn.
With Love and Shalom,
