TAPESTRY – Weaknesses, Faith, Works, OSAS, and the Parable of the 10 Virgins

This is my ultimate commentary on these matters.  I’ve put a lot of scripture in this post.  I’ve boldened and enlarged and underlined text to get the point of the scripture mentioned in context while preserving the scriptural context and veracity.

Jesus Christ wants us to be weak and have challenges in the flesh.  Then we'll need His grace.  King David was filled with the Holy Spirit early.  This allowed him to walk out many mighty acts of faith.  This also prevented him from being ingrained with an American style rugged individualism self dependence (of Course he was NOT an American).  The Holy Spirit was his "crutch" as the world likes to call it.  This means that his weaknesses were never removed through some brutal military psychological training or even the hard life he lived as a shepherd and on the run from Saul.  His flight for life was totally dependant of The Lord keeping him one step ahead of Saul.

2 Corinthians 12:6-11 (King James Version)

6For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.
7And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
8For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
11I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.

If David did not spend his quiet time "in the secret place of The Most High (Psalm 91:1)," his flesh would start to take control again.

Psalm 91 (King James Version)

1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
 5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
 9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

This is why David fell with Bathsheba.  He was not walking with The Lord and he was looking at a naked woman instead of having his quiet time with The Lord!  It doesn't matter if you're King David - naked women will do you in.  This is the same reason why Joseph FLED from Potiphar's wife.  Egyptian women supposedly could take the cloth they wore for clothes and pull the fabric completely through a wedding ring the size of a woman's finger.  That is a nice little nothing.  I guess Egypt was a hot place back in Joseph's day too.

Paul stated that he had a thorn in the flesh.  He asked God to remove it.  God refused!  His strength is made perfect in weakness!!!!

FAITH

Hebrews 11 (King James Version)

1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
ENOCH WAS TRANSLATED BECAUSE OF HIS FAITH….NOT BECAUSE OF HIS WORKS….HIS FAITH PLEASED GOD!!!!
6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
THIS SCRIPTURE DOES NOT SAY THOSE DO GOODERS IN THE WORLD.  IT SAYS OF THEM THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM!!!!!
7By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

James 2:16-26 (King James Version)

16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
DOVES – NOTICE THIS PART – FAITH WAS MADE PERFECT – NOT ABRAHAM…
23And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

DOVES – IF YOU’RE ACTIONS DON’T CHANGE BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST – YOU DON’T KNOW HIM!

ALSO – NOTICE HERE – ALL OF THE SUBJECTS OF JAMES’ WORKS PASSAGE WERE EITHER PRE-LAW, PRE-TEMPLES, OR PRE-TABERNACLE SAINTS

Galatians 2:14-21 (King James Version)

14But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
15We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

DOVES – WE ARE JUSTIFIED BY JESUS CHRIST, NOT THE LAW.  SINCE WE ARE COVERED BY OUR OWN PASSOVER LAMB, JESUS CHRIST, WE NEED TO OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS IF WE LOVE HIM.  IT DOESN’T MEAN WE’LL BE PERFECT.  WE ARE SUPPOSED TO TRY TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS!

John 14:14-16 (King James Version)

14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15If ye love me, keep my commandments.
 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Matthew 5:18-20 (King James Version)

18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Isaiah 64:5-7 (King James Version)

5Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
6But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
7And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

DOVES, HOW DO WE GET THAT RIGHTEOUSNESS?

Ephesians 2:7-9 (King James Version)

7That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

John 10:27-29 (King James Version) JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF SAID:

27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

No one - that also means us!!!!!

THE LORD KNOWS THAT RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE ARE GOING TO FALL – THEY JUST NEED TO GET BACK UP AND OVERCOME THE WORLD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST AND HIS HOLY SPIRIT!!

Proverbs 24:15-17 (King James Version)

15Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
16For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
17Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:

Matthew 12:31

31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

DOVES – IF YOU ARE DENYING THE HOLY SPIRIT WHAT PERSON ARE YOU FUNDAMENTALLY DENYING?   JESUS CHRIST.  YOU’RE SAYING THAT JESUS IS NOT THE JEWS CHRIST.  SOMEBODY ELSE IS….THAT’S A BIG BOO, BOO!

Revelation 13:8 (King James Version)

8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
THESE IDIOTS ARE WORSHIPPING THE OTHER GUY!

Revelation 3:5 (King James Version)

5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

John 14:2-4 (King James Version)

2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

DOVES – I WANT TO BE WITH HIM ALSO.  WHAT ABOUT MY WORKS?  WILL THOSE GET ME IN?

NOPE.  I MUST HAVE FAITH FIRST BEFORE WORKS.  THAT WAY MY FAITH DRIVEN WORKS WILL BE THE RESULT OF MY BELIEF IN JESUS CHRIST NOT IN FEAR OF THE LAW.

LOOK AT ALL OF THE SCRIPTURES AT THE START OF THIS POST AGAIN.  HAVING FAITH IS AN ACT OF FAITH BY ITSELF!!!!  JESUS CHRIST VERIFIES THIS HIMSELF IN THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT OF HIS OWN CRUCIFICTION!

Luke 23:30-44 (King James Version)

30Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
31For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
32And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.
33And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
34Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
35And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
36And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,
37And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.
38And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
39And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
44And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

YOU SEE, THAT THIEF BELIEVED IN HIS HEART AND SPOKE WITH HIS MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD!  JESUS CHRIST REPLIED,Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

WE MUST REPENT OF OUR SINS TO JESUS CHRIST FOR THEM TO BE FORGIVEN.  THEN WE CAN CHANGE AND HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HELP US PERFORM GOOD WORKS.

NOW I HAVE A SEGUEWAY INTO THE NEXT BRANCH OF THIS SERMON WHICH IS LEADING INTO MY MANIFESTO ON THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS.  READ THIS NEXT SCRIPTURE CLOSELY:

Acts 17:29-31 (King James Version)

29Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
30And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Why did the Jews give their sacrifices?  REPENTANCE!!!!!!!!  That is what gets you right with God.  He wants us to depend on Him, NOT on our works, to be righteous.  IF God wanted us to be able to perfectly walk out our righteousness, he would give us a redeemed body that would prevent us from sinning.

Well,

HE IS GONG TO DO THAT AT THE RAPTURE.  THEN WE CAN HAVE PERMANENT FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM WITHOUT INTERRUPTIONS FROM SINNING!!!!!!

I've been married for 4 years now.  Thank God I married my bride and NONE of her bridesmaids.  None of them are still ready for marriage!  That's typical of a young bride; she has plenty of immature friends.  I know one thing for sure - on my wedding night it was her only.  The last thing on my mind were her bridesmaids’ location.  Read song of solomon.

Where are the bridesmaids?  I didn't need them anymore.  The wedding was over - time for the marriage!

If we are saved before the rapture - we are THE BRIDE.  JESUS CHRIST is coming back to get us for himself as HIS BRIDE HE BOUGHT ON THE CROSS.  WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO JOIN THE BRIDE?  PLEASE RETURN TO THE TOP OF THIS POST AND READ ALL OF THE SCRIPTURES OVER AGAIN.

BACK TO THE PARABLE OF THE 10 BRIDESMAIDS

Always the bridesmaid, but never the bride....who are these girls?

The Bridesmaids are two groups.  The tribulation jews, they are consecrated, but lacking the Holy Spirit.  The ones that survive the Tribulation will live on earth where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth until the New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven and Jesus Christ repairs earth on His own (No Al Gore!!!!).  Even with the weepeing and gnashing of teeth - they are still bridesmaids.  See scripture after the end of the green text.  The Jews didn’t want any of The Lord’s cooking, just like they got sick of the Manna in the wilderness:

Luke 14:16-35 (King James Version)

16Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
17And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
18And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
20And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
21So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
22And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
23And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
24For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
25And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
26If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
28For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
29Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
31Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
32Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
33So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
34Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
35It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The bridesmaids with the Holy Spirit are the Post Adam and Post flood believers that are not part of the Bride, but will be raptured because they believed in The Lord.  This explains how a righteous God would judge people who had no Jewish tabernacle or Christian sin forgiveness system to reconcile their souls back to Yahweh and live righteously - reconciled to Him (times of this ignorance God winked at).  These people are going to heaven because they had oil in their lamps.  They just never had any pre death revelations of what was in store for them.

Matthew 25:1-12 (King James Version)

1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

THESE FOOLISH FIVE VIRGINS ARE THE JEWS.  THEY DON’T BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

Psalm 14:1 (King James Version)

1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Matthew 12:31

31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Psalm 13:3 (King James Version)

  3Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
DOVES WHY ARE SOME SLUMBERING AND SOME SLEEPING?  WHY THE DIFFERENCE?
BECAUSE SOME OF THESE VIRGINS ARE ACTUALLY DEAD PRE FLOOD AND PRE ABRAHAM SAINTS.  THEY DISCOVERED THE LORD.  OUR GOD IS JUST AND CAN NOT SEND THE RIGHTEOUS TO HELL.
6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
DO THE JEWS KNOW THEIR LORD?  NOPE!
