Hi Dan,
I strongly agree with your post "Weighing in on the 10 Virgins." The Spirit of the Lord has revealed these same hidden truths to me as well as many other saints. I like to call this revelation of the mature and obedient bride, "The Lord's invitation to his wedding banquet."
Now that you know these spiritual truths Dan you are now held more accountable to the Lord. To whom much has been given much is required.
Luk 12:47 And that servant who knew his master's will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating. Luk 12:48 But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
Christ's Bride has been given much, and its the Spirit and the Bride that say come (Rev 22:17), not the disobedient worldy children of the Laodicean church.
The leaders of the Laodicean church that rule by their own authority today speak smooth lies to the people and do not allow Jesus to be Lord of his flock.
Jer 5:30 A horrible, terrible thing has taken place in the land. Jer 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority. My people love it like this. But what will you do at the end of it?
That is why Jesus is knocking at the door of the Laodicean church because he is asking people to come out of it to have fellowship with Him (Rev 3:20).
The 10 Virgins is a picture of "God's invitation to his wedding banquet" for his church, wise and foolish virgins. The bride sees the invitation to the wedding by revelation from the Spirit. But the children of the Laodicean church do not see the true meaning of the parable because their eyes have been blinded to God's hidden truths by their worldly lusts. That is why there is much disagreement today about the parable of the 10 virgins between the obedient bride and the rebellious children in the church.
If you are seeking righteous and humility (you who carry out what he commands), perhaps you may be concealed on the day of the Lords anger.
Zep 2:1 Gather together, yes, gather, O shameless nation, Zep 2:2 before the decree takes effect --before the day passes away like chaff-- before there comes upon you the burning anger of the LORD, before there comes upon you the day of the anger of the LORD. Zep 2:3 Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, who do his just commands; seek righteousness; seek humility; perhaps you may be hidden on the day of the anger of the LORD.
Why would the Lord say seek righteousness and humility to be hidden in the day of his anger if it were not so?
Salvation is by grace, but to beome a mature bride of Christ requires obedience to the Bridegroom just as a mature marriage in this world requires love and obedience to your bridegroom.
When you are first born into this world or born-again as a babe in Christ are you ready for marriage? It is not until you grow up and mature in faithfulness and love that you may become an obedient bride ready for marriage.
Jesus as Bridegroom is coming the first time for his mature, faithful, loving, and obedient saints (the wise virgins, the mature bride). Those spiritually immature children in the church who have not yet grown into maturity because of their sinful desires will be left behind to repent of their lukewarm hearts in the fire of the tribulation, gold refined in the fire (the foolish virgins).
Son 8:8 Our sister is young; she has no breasts. What will we do for our sister on the day she is spoken for? (the wedding banquet). Son 8:9 If she is a wall, we will build a silver parapet on it. If she is a door, we will enclose it with cedar planks. Son 8:10 I am a wall and my breasts like towers. So in his eyes I have become like one who finds peace, (the obedient bride) .
The mature bride has breasts like towers and as a result she finds peace in her Bridegroom. The two spiritual breasts of faith and love are the mature breasts of the obedient bride of Christ.
1Th 5:8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.
The mature bride walks in faith and love (breasts like towers) for her Bridegroom while the childern of Laodicea have become lukewarm in their hearts for Jesus because they are chasing after their worldly lusts.
Jesus is coming back for his wise virgins that have the light and love of the Bridegroom burning brightly in their hearts for people walking in darkness to see.
Keep your lamps of Jesus love buring brightly in your hearts so that you may be found ready as wise virgin when the Bridegroom comes for his obedient bride with mature breasts of faith and love. This is "God's invitation to his wedding banquet" for his church, wise and foolish virgins.
