"To Chip"

Dear Chip,

Your situation does sound so very difficult and I am so sorry that you find yourself in such a plight.

However, please remember that all of this is temporary and we are but a vapor and all that matters is how we handled this life. This is what I have to remind myself whenever the valleys of life come along.

The enemy loves to create confusion and bitterness in these valleys but we cannot let him succeed. In your situation it would be easy and natural to have hard feelings and resentment as your plight has been caused by others. However, NOTHING is worth our souls and to be forgiven, we can harbor no unforgiveness, no matter the form it is in or the circumstances surrounding the situation.

Something that has really become clear to me is the fact that forgiveness of others is not optional-it is a kingdom principle required of all to enter Heaven:

Mark 11:26

26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

So, anger, resentment or any other such negative feelings towards another constitute unforgiveness. Therefore, I urge you to protect yourself from satan's attacks to plant ill feelings whether it be towards people or institutions.

I will be praying for God's supernatural intercession for your many needs but please let love and forgiveness reign and the peace of Christ will be yours, no matter how tumultuous the storm.

I pray for God to release to you sweet, refreshing sleep as sleep deprivation can impair you emotionally and physically. Trust the creator of the universe who loves you with a love that has no limits.

With the signs all around us, there is not much longer until Jesus returns. So hold on and realize all that matters is that we are ready when He returns.

I know it is upsetting to think you may lose your home that you, yourself built but soon you will find yourself in your mansion that our Savior, Himself prepared for you!

MARANATHA!
