I don't know where one gets the idea that the prophets, Jesus or God were never sarcastic.
Read Malachi, that book is rich in sarcasm. Jesus rebuke to the prophets the same. Sarcasm was used when the truth was so obviously ignored. That is why the Jewish race and for that matter the human race gets so easily off track from God.
The last days church the same. It is because of sin incorporated into the church, things once sinful are now accepted because we have to be "inclusive" and open minded, to what? To a world that rejects God.
