"prodigals that don't return"
Some one sent me the prodigal parable to me to convince me of the once saved
always saved modern doctrine.
He forgot about all the prodigals that do not
return in which many scriptures refer to and warn about.
It's like this new
teaching has cause a stroke in the minds of christians. People with a stroke can
totaly ignore one side of the body because to them it does not exist, they don't
notice it. So too with these folks. Directing them to scripture that contradicts
their theology is like throwing peas at a wall [ Romanian saying]
The
prodigal made a choice. He was pushed that way, but he was the one that made the
choice to return, many don't. If you have been around long enough and are honest
you will agree. This they were never realy saved is a dishonest arguement. The
bible says if you confess with your mouth and believe with your heart you shall
be saved. People change their minds and hearts.
