The Coming Great Revival.....???

Dear brother _____,
When the Lord concluded giving Israel the Covenant of the Law, He then said, "Ye shall not add unto the Word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you," Deuteronomy 4:2.
Again in Deuteronomy 5:22 Moses said, "These Words the Lord spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and He added no more. And He wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me."
Then a third time in Deuteronomy 12:32 the Lord said, "What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it."
Brother, this is so plain. When God gave the Old Covenant of the Law, it was complete. Nothing was missing. Therefore, the Lord told the Jewish people three times not to add to it nor take from it. It was specifically because they ignored His warnings, that they repeatedly got into all kinds of trouble and brought judgment upon themselves
as the centuries past.
Then when the Lord finished giving the New Testament [covenant] to all of mankind, John clearly stated, "For I testify unto every man that heareth the Words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the Words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book," Revelation 22:18-19.
Further, the Apostle Paul when writing to the young preacher, Timothy, he was inspired of God to write, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works," 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
Brother, these portions of Scripture tell me that God's people [true believers] are not to add to or take from God's Word, because God's Word is totally and entirely sufficient to meet every need we have for "light" from God. Everything we need to enable us to serve the Lord has already been given to us in the inspired Word. We need nothing else! Period!
I want to make it very clear that I do believe in the "progressive revelation" of the Word. By that I mean that new revelations are being given to God's people today just as Daniel 12:4 predicted, but they are being given from the Word. The Lord is not adding something to His Word. He is merely opening up to God's people things that have been hidden in the Word for centuries. It is clearly stated in the Scriptures themselves that the Lord would do this. Study Psalm 49:4 and 78:2 in your Hebrew Bible or with a good Concordance. Also the Lord Himself clearly stated in Matthew 13:52, "Therefore every scribe [writer; student] which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old." You notice that the Lord plainly stated that new things would be brought forth, but only to those and by those who are instructed in things pertaining to the coming Kingdom. Where do we find such instruction? In the inspired Word of God.
Brother, God's people [true believers] have no need for "extra-Scriptural" revelations. Either the Word of God is perfect and complete and provides everything we need to honor and serve the Lord, or its claim to being so is a lie. And this is not a matter of "interpretation," rather it is a matter of believing what God's Word says. Either people do or they don't. Some folks who claim to be "Christians" need to make up their mind. I made mine up many, many years ago. God's Word is all sufficient, and contains every thing I need to serve the Lord acceptably. I need nothing else!
You asked me about this fellow's particular "prophecy." I trust that you really wanted to know, for I am going to answer you truthfully. I believe it is just a pack of lies, and it very obviously did not come from the Lord. It totally ignores the time element in which we are living today that is clearly set forth in God's inspired Word, is written in such a way as to presume that God Himself is speaking [a very dangerous thing for any man or woman to do], and is just another vain attempt by man to fulfill the prophecies of Joel 2:28-32. Brother, the Lord doesn't need man's help to fulfill that prophecy, plus the fact that the context of the prophecy clearly indicates that it will be fulfilled during the coming Tribulation; not during this present dispensation. No where in God's Word is any great "end-time revival" predicted to occur before the Tribulation begins. No where! I don't care who it is that claims otherwise, what position they occupy, or how "important" they think they are. I'm not real impressed with men's claims, not even by men in positions of prominence and influence. It is the "rightly divided" Word of God that impresses me. Nothing more, nothing less!
Brother, the Lord Himself set forth the sad, sick condition of end-time "Christianity" [Sic!] just preceding the beginning of the Tribulation in His letter to the church at Laodicea, Revelation 3:14-17. There is not even a hint of a great "end-time" revival to occur in this present dispensation in that church letter. Rather, the exact opposite is indicated.....Apostasy! Right to the day the rapture occurs and the Tribulation begins. Only a "remnant" of New Testament believers still remain true to the Lord and His Word as clearly indicated in this same church letter. The Lord Himself said that He stands at the door [He is writing to the church] and is knocking. "...If any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me." You will notice that the Lord did not say that He would come in to the whole congregation, but only to the individual willing to open the door. Does this sound like massive end-time revival, or does it sound like the Lord is calling out the very last New Testament believers to be saved just before the rapture occurs?
Dear brother, as a Bible believing Christian I go by the Word of God and only by the Word of God as my rule of faith and practice. If any reader wants to "straighten me out" on this, you will use the "rightly divided" Word of God to do it, or you will be wasting your time. I just can't hear your opinions, ideas, theories, feelings, fantasies, and so-called "interpretations" about the Word, because the actual literal statements of the Word of God are loudly ringing in my ears and in my heart. I just have a lot of trouble trying to hear anything else that tries to pass itself off as Bible believing "Christianity." Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! Glory to God! Thank God for His marvelous GRACE! There is no voice as sweet as the voice of the Lord.

Subject: "new" prophecy?
Pastor Riley,
I was sent this prophecy below by someone that believes it confirms visions for our 622 ministry. I would like you opinion of prophecies such as this and what scripture would support something like this. I thought all prophecy like this was contained in the Bible and there should be no "new" prophecies. Thanks for your wisdom on this.In His service,

And now it is to the East Coast of America that I would speak - Cry out - Cry out - to the East Coast, says the spirit of the Living God - For there are those that would wage violent warfare against you - For surely you have been marked with a mark by the powers and satanic princes of the age- Surely even your destruction and your devastation was planned in the regions of the damned to come forth in this age and in this hour -
But this day I declare to you, that even as the East Coast has been targeted in this day and in this forthcoming hour by the powers and Princes of the regions of darkness - so too I declare to you America that in this coming day and in this coming hour you shall surely see the strong right arm of the Living God rise in the East - that so too the East Coast has been marked with a divine marking from the realms of Heaven itself -
For as surely as centuries back even as the first pilgrims landed on the East Coast of America - it was by my hand says the Lord and it was by my design says the Lord - it was by my hand and it was sovereignly ordained by my spirit - and well the enemy knew - and so as he watched my plan unfold through the centuries - he rose up with a unbridled rage to destroy my plan -
And I tell you now that even as satan has marked you with a marking for evil and destruction - so I, the Lord God of Israel has marked you with a sovereign marking for revival.
For in these next years and in this next hour, I tell you that the East Coast shall start to burn with the fire of my spirit - for the prayers of my saints and the supplications of my sent ones have not been in vain, says the Lord - and even as there has been a constraining and a barrenness in the spirit in this territory - a mighty roar will come forth from the east that will ignite a flame of raging revival fire across America that will even set ablaze even California , says the Lord.
And Ha! Yes there have been scoffers who say - how can anything good of God be birthed out of the East Coast - but I say to you this day - that my spirit is drawn like a magnet to the divine marking on this place - that the cries of the saints are not unheeded by me -
And as my people who are called by my Name - yet humble themselves and cry out to me - the enemy's plans shall be reversed - The enemy's plans shall be confined and restricted and the great disaster that the destroyer has planned for the East shall be stopped in its track, says the Lord.
For I tell you - that a fire of my Holy Spirit has yet to be ignited in New England, in New York - In Washington DC - even in Philadelphia - says the Lord for where my people have sought my face and called upon My Name - surely I am the God who answers by fire - and I tell you that in this next day and in this coming hour that the East shall be set on fire with such a flame that its blazing shall not be quenched - and the Carolinas shall blaze forth with revival fire even as tinder wood that has been struck with a match. And Florida says the Lord - yes Florida -visitation - visitation - a mighty visitation of my spirit shall burn through religion - it shall burn through the status quo - and the nation shall stop and stare in awe at what I have done - that even those who have watered and prayed and stood in the gap in the cities of the East even to the Northern territories - and even to Detroit says the Lord - Detroit where you have seen darkness shall come a great light in your midst - even across to the reaches of Maine and through Canada you shall yet see this day says the Lord - no longer shall they say that every vision tarries but every vision shall be fulfilled.
